A Special New Beginning for the ALPHA Family

Board of Directors As June 14 quickly approaches, I am becoming more and more excited to enter the world of
2011 parenthood. Yes, my husband and I are expecting our first child this summer! I have felt so blessed
over the past 2 years to be working among so many parents and families striving to do what is best
for their children, and now I will join them in the ranks.

A year ago I found out my 15 year old daughter
was pregnant, I was in shock and had no idea where to go
for help. My daughter’s health nurse told us about Alpha.
The women at Alpha have been so supportive and caring.
Being the mom of a teenage mom is both overwhelming
and stressful, but Alpha has been such a blessing. They
have helped with clothes, baby equipment, food, toys,
education and much more. If they couldn’t help, they got
us to the people who could, Alpha has been a life saver
for us and I have the utmost respect for these kind and
hardworking women.
