AQUISIÇÃO DAS MARCAS SELETO INAUGURANDO A
ENTRADA DA COMPANHIA NO SEGMENTO DE CAFÉ

São Paulo, 13 de setembro de 2021 – A Camil Alimentos S.A. (“Companhia” ou “Camil”),

comunica aos seus acionistas e ao mercado em geral, que celebrou o Instrumento Particular de
Cessão de Marcas, Nomes de Domínio e Outros Direitos de Propriedade Intelectual com a Jacobs
Douwe Egberts BR Comercialização De Cafés Ltda. (“JDE Brasil”) por meio do qual a Companhia
adquiriu as marcas compostas do termo “SELETO” registradas no Instituto Nacional da
Propriedade Intelectual - INPI (“Operação”).

A conclusão da Operação está sujeita a condições usuais a este tipo de operação, inclusive a
obtenção de aprovação pelo Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica - CADE.

A Operação está alinhada com a estratégia da Companhia de diversificação de categoria,

inaugurando sua entrada no segmento de café. A Camil possui um histórico consistente de
crescimento e ampliação de participação de mercado por meio de aquisições. Essa mais recente
aquisição consiste em um passo importante para o ingresso da Companhia no mercado de café,
vindo de encontro aos seus objetivos estratégicos de aquisições de marcas e ativos no setor de
consumo na América do Sul.

NOTICE TO THE MARKET

ACQUISITION OF “SELETO” TRADEMARKS, INTRODUCING THE
COMPANY’S ENTRY INTO COFFEE SEGMENT

São Paulo, September 13th, 2021 – Camil Alimentos S.A. (“Company” or “Camil”) hereby informs
its shareholders and the market in general, that it has entered into a Trademark, Domain Names
and Other IP Rights Assignment Agreement with Jacobs Douwe Egberts BR Comercialização De
Cafés Ltda., by means of which the Company has acquired certain trademarks by the term
“SELETO” registered before the Brazilian National Institute of Intellectual Property (Instituto
Nacional da Propriedade Intelectual) (“Transaction”).

The completion of the Transaction is subject to the verification of precedent conditions

customary to this type of transaction, including the approval of the Administrative Council for
Economic Defense ("CADE").

The Transaction is in line with the Company's strategy of diversity of categories, introducing its
entry in coffee segment. Camil has a consistent history of growth and expansion of market share
through acquisitions. This latest acquisition is an important step towards the Company's entry
into the relevant coffee market, meeting its strategic objectives of acquiring brands and assets
in the consumer sector in Brazil.
