As estratégias de leitura dizem respeito as formas

utilizadas pelo leitor para facilitar a compreensão dos
dados informativos de um texto.

As estratégias de leitura tem o objetivo de desenvolver

habilidades de leitura em línguas estrangeiras
através e estratégias e atividades que auxiliam na
compreensão e contribuição para a formação de
leitores mais eficientes e autônomos.

 Ingredients

•1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

•1/2 cup sugar
•1-3/4 teaspoons baking powder
•1/2 teaspoon salt
•1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
•1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
•1 egg
•1/2 cup milk
•3 tablespoons canola oil
•3 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
•1 medium McIntosh apple, peeled and grated

•TOPPING:
•1/4 cup packed brown sugar
•1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
•2 tablespoons cold butter
•1/2 cup quick-cooking oats

•CINNAMON-HONEY BUTTER:
•1/2 cup butter, softened
•1/4 cup honey
•1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. In another bowl, whisk the egg,
milk, oil and applesauce. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in apple. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin
cups half full.
For topping, in a small bowl, combine brown sugar and flour; cut in butter until crumbly. Add oats. Sprinkle over
muffins.
Bake at 350° for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before
removing from pan to a wire rack.
In a small bowl, beat the butter, honey and cinnamon until blended. Serve with warm muffins. Refrigerate leftover
butter. Yield: 1 dozen.

Os gêneros textuais são dinâmicos e sofrem variações na sua
constituição, e isso, resulta em novos gêneros.

• O número de gêneros textuais numa determinada

sociedade é, em princípio, ilimitado, ampliando-se de
acordo com os avanços sociais e tecnológicos.

• Basta pensar no e-mail ou no blog, práticas sociais e

comunicativas decorrentes das variações da carta e do
diário, propiciadas pelas recentes invenções tecnológicas.

• Dado o processo dinâmico no qual os gêneros estão

inseridos, assim como surgem, podem desaparecer.
 COGNATOS
 O que são palavras cognatos?

São palavras de origem grega ou latina bem parecidas 
com as do português.

    Ex.: different, infection, education, geography,

museum, information, etc...
 FALSOS COGNATOS
 Os falsos cognatos são aquelas palavras que tem a
mesma escrita, ou muito parecidas ao Português, mas
o seu significado ou traduções são diferentes.

Ex.: actually, cigar, college, data, parents, relatives,

pretend...etc.
CONHECIMENTO PRÉVIO

 O conhecimento prévio é um recurso fundamental

no processo de compreensão, pois possibilita a
formulação de hipóteses pertinentes ao significado do
texto.

ler cada palavra. É uma rápida visualização do texto como um scanner faz
quando, rapidamente, lê a informação contida naquele espaço. Scanning
envolve mover os olhos de cima para baixo na página, procurando
palavras chaves, frases especificas ou ideias. Ao realizar o scanning
procure verificar se o autor fez uso de organizadores no texto, como:
números, letras, passos ou as palavras primeiro, segundo, próximas.
Procure por palavras em negrito, itálico, tamanhos de fontes ou cores
diferentes. O processo de scanning é muito útil para encontrar
informações específicas de, por exemplo, um número de telefone numa
lista, uma palavra num dicionário, uma data de nascimento, ou de
falecimento numa biografia, um endereço ou a fonte para a resposta de
uma determinada pergunta sua.

 Informação não verbal
Como o próprio título sugere, informação não - verbal é toda informação
fornecida por meio de figuras, gráficos, tabelas, mapas etc. O leitor poderá
se concentrar neles a fim de obter informação que deseja ou necessita.
No entanto, sabe-se que, não raro, a informação não verbal é ignorada ou
considerada supérflua pelo leitor. Contudo, se o autor a colocou à
disposição, é porque ela deve ser observada. De fato, em muitos textos
que combinam informação verbal e não verbal, aquilo que se busca pode
estar apenas num gráfico ou tabela, por exemplo. Nesse caso, a leitura do
texto passa a ser apenas confirmação das informações obtidas por meio de
tais recursos.
