Driven by the will to shape your world, many of you have been inspired by the
power of social business. Our common vision to serve society‟s most pressing
needs binds us together as a powerful community around the world.

Since February 2011 The Grameen Creative Lab has been tasked by the UN to engage the
global youth in achieving the Millennium Development Goals through social business.

Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger Improve Maternal Health


 Halve the proportion of people living on less than 1$ per day  Reduce by three quarters the maternal mortality ratio

Achieve universal primary education Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases
 Ensure that all boys & girls complete a full course of primary  Halt and begin to reverse the spread of HIV/AIDS

Ensure environmental sustainability
Promote gender equality and empower women  Integrate the principles of sustain-able development into country
 Eliminate gender disparity in primary and secondary education policies and programs; reverse loss of environmental resources

Reduce child mortality  Develop further an open, rule- based, predictable, non-discrimin-

At the 3rd international Klassentreffen we bring the international social business community
together to look closely at the 8 Millennium Development Goals and social business as a
means to fulfill the promise of the Millennium declaration.

Class #1 New! the junior social business school (all day) – In cooperation with Ideen³ and Wi.n.d initiative from
the Alanus University, we encourage teenagers under the age of 20 to start their own social business

Class #2 Social Business City Wiesbaden meets Luxemburg (all day)- revive the relationship to Luxembourg
through social business and discuss how to design a social business city framework according to the MDGs

Class #3 Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger! Halve the proportion of people living on less than 1$ per day
Learn from Hans Reitz how social business became a powerful tool to eradicate poverty

Class #4 Achieve universal primary education! Ensure that all boys and girls complete a full course of primary
schooling. Discuss new innovative ways of education

Class #5 Promote gender equality and empower women! Learn and discuss with “career path for women.”

Class #10 A global partnership for development! Develop new strategies for Africa with Dr. Ben Mansour from
Tunisia and follow the freedom revolution with a revoltion of social business.
