Irrera is available for interviews the week of Sept. 6th

Two-time CableACE Award-winning comedian Dom Irrera’s stand-up material was honed
in a multi-generational Italian household in south Philadelphia with his mother, sister,
grandmother, uncles and cousins all under one very big roof (and a great grandmother
living across the street). Together there were three floors and four generations of family.

Currently Irrera can be seen as “Chief Justice” on the Laugh Factory-produced Supreme
Court of Comedy (DirecTV), a half-hour, unscripted series soon entering its fourth season.
Filmed at the Hollywood club, real-life complainants are heard before Irrera, who hands out
hilarious (and surprisingly just) rulings. Guest starring as “Court Counselors” is a who’s who
of today’s top comics.

In addition to hosting and starring in a variety of series and specials for Showtime, HBO and
Comedy Central, Irrera has performed on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, The Late Show
With David Letterman, Late Night With Conan O'Brien, The Late Late Show with Craig
Ferguson, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The View and has made several appearances
on Oprah.

Irrera was a series regular on the FOX comedy Damon, starring Damon Wayans, and his
guest-star credits include Seinfeld, Becker, Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens.
In addition, he voices the character Ernie on Nickelodeon’s Hey Arnold.

Irrera’s film work includes a featured role in Robert Townsend's Hollywood Shuffle; a cameo
in the Coen brothers’ The Big Lebowski; The Fourth Tenor, starring old pal Rodney
Dangerfield; and played himself in the Rodney Dangerfield/Dom De Luise film The Godson.

About the Laugh Factory:

Opening its doors in 1979, the world-famous Laugh Factory has been recognized as “the
#1 comedy club in the country” by such high-profile media as USA Today. With southern
California locations in Hollywood (its original Sunset Boulevard locale) and Long Beach
(opened in 2008), comedy’s top stars – as well as today’s brightest emerging talent –
shine on its legendary stage. Founder Jamie Masada – a pioneer, innovator and iconic
name on the comedy scene, who got into “The Biz” at the age of 14 – has been
instrumental in launching the careers of many of today’s biggest comics. A former stand-
up himself, Masada is a sought-after consultant and successful producer of comedy
franchises for film (Disney’s RocketMan, Damon Wayan’s Behind the Smile), television
(DirecTV’s Supreme Court of Comedy, FOX’s In Living Color, Showtime’s Full Frontal
Comedy, UPN’s Vibe, FOX’s Comic Strip Live), radio (Premiere Radio’s syndicated
Laugh Factory Joke of the Day, which enjoyed an 18-year run) and live events (Comedy
March on Washington). With a strong belief that “laughter is the best medicine,” Masada
is also a dedicated philanthropist, working extensively with underprivileged children and
the homeless (feeding and entertaining those in need) and a supporter of struggling
artists. Visit us online at www.laughfactory.com.
