Dear Business internship recruiter,

I am interested in participating in an internship in the business field. I think that business

is a really cool field and have always admired people who work there. I find it very
interesting and I have always wanted to see what its like to be involved with it. Since I
was young I’ve wanted to open my own business and I think an internship would be a
great place to start.

I am currently a student at the Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders in south
Austin. I am a very organized person and I stay on top of my schoolwork, and it shows
in my report card each six weeks with straight A and B’s. I am also a very hard working
person, and I don’t let people tell me I can’t do something. I am very good at coming up
with ideas for projects and managing my time to get them done. As well as working hard
I also give much quite a bit though service. I volunteer at my church and go on mission
trips every summer to help and experience new things. I feel that these qualities would
be very good for the business field.

I am very interested in an internship in your field and would love to meet and discuss
more about it. If you have any questions email me at rlinn@annrichardsstars.com.

I look forward to hearing from you soon

Becky Linn-

Personality Type: ENFP
You described your profile as: Very Accurate

Introduction
Of the many factors that contribute to a successful future, an understanding of Personality Type is
among the most useful.

While interests and skills change during the course of a person's life, the one thing that does remain
constant is an individual's Personality Type - the innate way each person naturally prefers to see the
world and make decisions. And although all individuals are unique, people of the same type share
enormous similarities in the kinds of academic subjects and careers they find interesting, and the kind
of work they find satisfying.

By understanding the role Personality Type plays, people can gain important insights into their edu-
cational, career, and relationship needs. And because people of different types often communicate
in very different ways, counselors and teachers can learn which strategies work most effectively with
each individual student.

Understanding you, Rebecca

People like you are very outgoing, enthusiastic, and spontaneous. You love meeting new people and
probably have a large circle of friends and acquaintances. Since you are always on the go and seem to
have boundless energy, you are usually up for any new experience and especially love surprises! You
are very curious, ask a lot of questions, and are fascinated by people or things that are out of the or-
dinary. Because of your vivid imagination, you have many ideas a day and are great at finding creative
ways of solving problems or overcoming obstacles. You love to talk - especially about fun or interest-
ing possibilities. People enjoy your unusual sense of humor and find you fun to be around. You pride
yourself on your uniqueness.

You are also a sensitive and empathetic person who often has accurate insights about others. Your
friends know you are devoted and affectionate and that you feel things very deeply, even if you don't
always show it. But you may also take criticism personally and find your feelings are easily hurt. When
you have a lot of details to remember or projects to manage, you may become overwhelmed or dis-
couraged. In fact, your curiosity often distracts you from the more routine parts of projects and you
probably find that staying organized is one of the hardest things for you to do. Making decisions is
also a struggle because there are so many interesting options calling to you at once. Whatever career
you choose, it has to be something you believe in or you won't be able to stick with it for very long.

Note: Based on our assessment, your personality type is "ENFP."

At Ann Richards we are expected to graduate under the distinguished achievement plan.
To do this we have to complete a project dealing with somehing in our pathway. Since im
in biomed we had to research a rare illness and create a patient and medical path for that
patient to follow. We played the roles of different doctors who our patient would see. In the
end of our project we presented it before a board of medical professionals, with the goal to
get approved for the DAP. I was the Pediatrician. This SOAP note is a piece of my part of the
project, it is a description of my observations and thoughts on the patients wellness when
they came in.

SOAP note

My patient Miranda and Jamal Moss came in for a check up concerning their 1-
year-old daughter Lucy Moss. When Lucy first came in her parents complained “their
baby was having troubles breathing, they noticed she was smaller then other kids her age,
she was crying more, loss of appetite, difficulty breathing, holding her chest while crying,
she was tired after playing, and had not yet began to walk smile or talk” Lucy was not
taking any medication and this was the first time her parents brought her in concerning
these problems. Parents also explained that the symptoms started about 3 or 4 weeks ago.
Baby Lucy was born 31 weeks pre mature, and there is no history of serious illness or
disease. The parents came in to maybe get test and understand better the reason of
Lucy’s symptoms.

When I examined Lucy more closely I noticed a small rash developing on her
hand and up her arm, she also had involuntary movement of her hands and feet. Her
height and weight were under the average for children her age. I took a urine test and
blood test to get a more accurate diagnosis. Some other things I observed were not
smiling yet and she acted very lethargic. Baby Lucy couldn’t sit up on her own her
parents had to hold her back up.

Lucy’s symptoms were normal when looked at individually, but when I put them
together I couldn’t think of a diagnosis. The symptoms that concern me most are the
chest pain, breathing problems, and abnormal growth. I suspect that reason for breathing
problems could be asthma and for the growth problems may be a result of the premature
birth. Lucy could have something as serious as a lung problem, or something as simple as
an infection. The lab tests will help figure out possible problems.

For Lucy’s rash I prescribed a cream to help heal and fade it, I also recommended
that the parents give Lucy a vitamin daily to help with growth and development. I also
referred Lucy to a cardiologist to see if she could help with the diagnosis. Right now all I
can do it treat the individual symptoms until we know more about the reasons behind the
symptoms. I suggest that the parents make an appointment soon come back for periodic
checkups once a month.
