Alyssa Thrower

Interior Designer

Alyssa Thrower joined Flux 35 in 2009. She was promoted to Associate in


2011. At Flux 35, she works extensively on retail interiors where her extensive
knowledge of materials and their performance give her designs character.
She is involved in all stages of design from conceptual design to construction
documents. She received her degree in Interior Architecture from the
University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2009.

Brianna Cerame

I have been working in the design industry for 10 years, specializing


in both interior and product design. Upon graduating with a degree in
Interior Architecture from University of North Carolina at Greensboro,
I began working for Flux 35 and have continued my design work within
this firm, while engaging in some free-lance work on the side. I am
an active member of IIDA and as of Fall 2008 LEED accredited. With 10
years experience in the design field, focusing on products, details
and dematerialization allows me to ensure a quality design to present
to my clients.

Brittany Stiles
Interior Designer

Brittany Stiles graduated from the University of North Carolina at


Greensboro in Interior Architecture. She has her own interior design
company, Design Stiles, where she focuses on creating spaces to reflect the
clients needs and personality. She also graduated with a minor in Studio Art
which she incorporates into her designs. Her dream is to have her own
television show on HGTV.

Brittany Dasso
Interior Designer, Partner

Brittany Dasso graduated from UNCG with a degree in Interior


Architecture in 2012. She is a partner in the firm FLUX 35. When working
on the project for Stockholm, Sweden she primarily focused on model
making and form making. She worked in furniture and product design, and
also focused on residential interior design. She has a focus on sustainability
and biomimicry.

Charese Allen
Graphic Designer

Charese Allen is an architect who has contributed greatly to building the


firm to what it is today. A native of Charlotte, NC, she received her Master’s
in Architecture from Columbia University. As a practicing architect for ten
years, she has worked on a range of projects ranging from retail design,
workplace design, residential remodeling, and historic preservation. Her
work has allowed her to travel around the world. Currently within the firm,
she focuses on digital modeling within the firm, with expertise in a variety of
modeling programs. In her spare time, Charese enjoys traveling, painting,
and spending time with family.

Christyn Dunning
Graphic Designer

Christyn graduated from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro with


a degree in Interior Architecture and a double minor in English and
Anthropology. She then received her M.A in Journalism from the University
of Cambridge. After completing a year long internship with Dwell magazine
in San Francisco she freelanced her way to the top writing several travel
articles for Architectural Digest, Coastal Living, and several more. Her love
of writing and history in Design allows her to work with several firms as a
Graphic Designer.

Hannah Daugherty
Design Architect

Hannah grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and decided design was a
perfect match for her after finding much interest in art and architecture of
all cultures. After living in Japan and seeing the impact that architects have
after natural or war torn disasters, she decided to begin her architectural
degree at UVa with a focus on urban planning. It is her focus to approach
each and every project with a focus on problem solving, creative ideas, and
the active pursuit of high quality design.

With 15 years of practice, Principal Jeff Linn brings award winning ideas to
Flux 35. Inspired by the natural world and how humans relate to it, Linn has
an eye for innovation. Blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior,
and daring to question the status quo, Linn’s work for Flux 35 is driven by his
ability to build on precedents set by the past in order to design for the
future. Linn has dedicated his work with the Flux 35 design team to creating
iconic monuments of architecture that stand the test of time.

Katie O’boyle
Interior Designer

Katie received her Bachelors of Science degree in Interior Design with


Honors from The Ohio State University in 2001 and went on to receive her
masters degree in Architecture from Miami University in 2003. Katie moved
to New York in 2003 where she worked for Macy’s visual design team as
their project leader and designed for the company’s stores all over the
United States

Katie left Macy’s in 2008 and joined the FLUX35 team, where she
specializes in space allocation and planning, product merchandising, design
development, with a main focus in 3D visual representations.
Katie makes concepts and plans come to life through photorealistic
renderings. Engaging the client and the firm together so the clients can feel
a part of the space before it is even built. Katie challenges the cookie cutter
traditional designs and pushes to inspire and excite the clients

Kevin Lahti
Graphic Designer

Kevin received his bachelors of graphic design from the University of the
Creative Arts in Kent, UK. He spent a good portion of his career doing
graphics for major advertising campaigns through out the UK and Europe.
In 2007 he founded his own practice and has been working independently
since.
