Responsibilities
● Developed complex custom web parts that included People Finder and Integrated Alerts.
● Created a custom alert handler inheriting the IAlertHandler Interface to send
notifications with desired template and content.
● Implemented WSS Search Object Model in windows service to filter content based
on TOU and log findings for review by Legal Panel.
● Created usercontrols within the portal for other IT groups to showcase their
products/plans using SharePoint API.
● Developed tools to retrieving data from Active Directory, ensured appropriate
permissions are set and portal is available to desired audiences.

Project: Time Tracking Tool, Site Navigation and Provisioning controls

Role: Solutions Architect
Designed and developed a time tracking tool for the Mediaroom team using .Net class
library and incorporated it with Sharepoint portal server. The tool was developed using
ASP.NET, C# and Ajax extensions to enable the employees to enter their billable/non-
billable hours into the SharePoint object model. Created a web application with custom
validation to enable users to create SharePoint sites and add logos dynamically. Used
SharePoint designer to create custom list view and data view form webparts. Developed
webparts based on consumer-provider strategy to enhance site navigation within the MOSS
sites. Designed and developed usercontrols to retrieve data from Sharepoint Lists, SQL
tables and Sharepoint sites.
Responsibilities
● Involved in the development and deployment of webparts in Sharepoint Portal
Server.
● Developed a process to create sites dynamically in the Share Point Portal Server for
each submitted proposal using SharePoint Object model.
● Involved in the development of Custom Views based on the Microsoft Sharepoint
Portal Server 2007 and the Windows Sharepoint Services platform.
● Strategic development for successful customization and modular extension of
Sharepoint out-of-the-box features. This included custom template design and

Designed and developed web portals for the Organization. Developed a web application for
the Project managers and Team members to interact, to display, employee schedule,
Minutes of meetings held, SDLC – Project management, documentation, scheduling
appointments for team collaboration and sharing files with Members. The application was
developed in ASP.NET utilizing C# classes, JavaScript and HTML with SQL Server 2005
backend. The application also integrated Microsoft Excel for faculty members to upload and
download data. Involved in the development of Customer View, a portal solution based on
the Microsoft Share Point Portal Server and Windows Sharepoint services platform.

● Involved in requirement gathering and design of the application.
● Created business Use Cases, Activity diagrams, flowcharts and schematics using
Microsoft Visio 2003.

Designed and Developed the Web Based scheduling application in which call center
employees and their floor managers can view and change schedules. This application was
very important to the business as floor managers’ need to maximize performance and sales
on a daily bases. Also call centers traditionally lose about 50% of their employees every
year and this application allows floor managers to concentrate on performance rather than
paperwork. Employees can request change in shift/schedule that becomes effective and
reflects in the database once approved by the management. Management can view
employee shifts and schedules so that they can plan to support their clients appropriately.

Developed an Intelligent Home Automation system for Remote Sensing and Monitoring of
Home Appliances and Security through Mobile SMS. Responsibilities included Software
requirement analysis, Rationale Suite Enterprise Testing, Coding. Responsible for detailed
requirements gathering, use-case modeling, and documentation throughout the life cycle
methodology of development and implementation.
