After the success of its first release Zahyara EP, Electronical Reeds naturally continues to work with the
Belgian duo Optional Feast and always with a selection of choice remixers. Indeed, after Mirko Loko and
Ecco on first release, Optional Feast is remixed now by Pablo Cahn and TMP. With these two artists, the label
stays true to its spirit which is the alliance between the names of renowned and young talent.
After we have bewitched with the warmth of African sounds, Optional Feast continues to travel and we
embark on a journey into the heart of Orient with the presence of Afghan guitars. From the beginning, a
dynamic rhythmic with Tech House touches sounds. Voices with spiritual and mystical tones complete the
track before the arrival of these captivating guitars. The break, with the quality that we begin to recognize
this duo, is positioned perfectly to ensure maximum effect. Percussion and bass are added to give the song
its full power! Not to mention the subtle presence of two kicks, one more powerful and heavier that another
appears only after the first third of the track. This evolutionary track gives a new dimension to Middle
Eastern music.
Pablo Cahn, after the huge success of his song Elle on Cadenza, offers a radically different remix, as to have
been renamed "remake" despite conservation of the oriental and melodic approach. For him, percussion
lines of the original will be the thread he complements with a melody of violins with different harmonies
throughout the first part. Pablo Cahn, who abandoned the guitars of the original mix, takes us to the sounds
of flutes which are long and an almost dreamlike break!
TMP, a group of young Belgian artists, understands the Eastern atmosphere of the song but they prefer to
take us to Morocco for a more altered version, with many divisions, including through a restructuring of
Afghan guitars. This remix has a little more Deep rhythmic but maintains the high efficiency of the song. "The
use of percussion mixed to the guitar with the preservation of the original bass" resumes in few word the
approach of TMP. The break is a pleasant surprise because it takes us straight into the atmosphere of a
Moroccan souk. The rhythm finally come back takes over and headed us for the end of the break which
exploded to give us the full vision of what the artist wanted to bring over the original track.

Après le succès de son premier release, Zahyara EP, Electronical Reeds continue donc tout naturellement sa
collaboration avec le duo belge Optional Feast et toujours avec une sélection de remixers de choix. En effet,
après Mirko Loko et Ecco sur le premier release, Optional Feast se voit remixer par Pablo Cahn et TMP. Avec
ces deux artistes, le label reste fidèle à son esprit qui est l’alliance entre les noms de renom et les jeunes
talents.
Après nous avoir envoutés avec la chaleur des sons africains, Optional Feast continue de voyager et nous
embarque pour un voyage au cœur de l’Orient avec notamment la présence de guitares afghanes. Dès le
début, une rythmique dynamique aux accents Tech House se fait entendre, des voix aux tonalités spirituelles
et mystiques complètent le titre avant l’arrivée de ces envoutantes guitares. Le break, avec la qualité que
l'on commence à reconnaitre à ce duo, se positionne à la perfection pour assurer l’effet maximal. Des
percussions et des basses s'ajoutent pour donner au morceau toute sa puissance! Sans oublier la subtile
présence de deux kicks, un plus percutant et un autre plus lourd qui n'apparait que vers le tiers du morceau.
Ce track évolutif redonne une nouvelle dimension à la musique orientale.
Pablo Cahn, après l’immense succès de son titre Elle sur Cadenza, propose un remix radicalement différent,
au point d’avoir été renommé "remake" malgré la conservation de l’approche orientale et mélodique. Les
lignes de percussions de l'original seront pour lui le fil conducteur qu’il complétera avec une mélodie de
violons aux harmonies différentes tout au long de la première partie. Pablo Cahn, qui a abandonné les
guitares de la version originale, nous emmène aux sons de flûtes qui portent le long et presque onirique
break!
TMP, collectif de jeunes artistes belges, a bien compris l'ambiance orientale du morceau mais préfère nous
emmener au Maroc, pour une version plus édulcorée, avec de nombreux découpages, notamment à travers
une restructuration des guitares afghanes. Ce remix a la rythmique un peu plus Deep mais maintient la
grande efficacité du morceau. "L’utilisation de percussions mélangées à la guitare avec la conservation de la
basse originale" résume en quelques mots l’approche de TMP. Le break est une agréable surprise car il nous
emmène tout droit dans l'ambiance d'un souk marocain. La rythmique reprend finalement le dessus et nous
dirige vers la fin du break qui explose pour nous donner la vision complète de ce qu'a voulu apporter cet
artiste par rapport au morceau original.
