Designation: Senior SQA Engineer

TiG-NetSol (Pvt) Ltd, a NetSol Group company is organized as a separate business

entity to better leverage its intellectual resources. Registered under the Companies
Ordinance 1984, in January 2005, Netsol has its registered office at NetSol IT Village,
(Software Technology Park), NetSol Avenue, Ghazi Road, Lahore Cantt.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Working on given below different projects as Team Lead, Backup Team
Lead and Team member roles according to the requirement and
accomplishing the tasks successfully
• Designing, reviewing and executing the test scripts using QC (Quality
Centre 8.2) and Test Director
• GUI testing, Functional testing and Regression testing
• Using TOAD to connect the database and testing
• Analyzing, raising and verifying the defects

Client: Azure Solutions

Azure (www.azuresolutions.com) is a British firm; The Company's heritage can be
traced back to BT in the early 1990s. Azure was spun out of BT in April 2003 and
since then is the leading software development company to provide telecoms
software solutions. Recently Azure won the ‘Best Revenue-Assurance Project'
award at the World Billing Awards 2005 in London, and ‘Most Promising Company'
at the TeleStrategies Billing & OSS World Excellence Awards 2005 in Philadelphia.

Roles and Responsibilities

Worked in Software Quality Assurance department on the project CALCULUS,
recently used by TELENOR for it’s interconnect billing system, developed by UK
based company AZURE Solutions being involved in the following activities:

• Performing equivalence class testing

• GUI testing, functional testing and regression testing
• Designing, reviewing and executing the test scripts
• Raising and verifying the defects

TRAININGS & CERTIFICATES

¾ CSTE training (19th March 2008 – 16th May 2008)
The Certified Software Tester (CSTE) program is developed by leading software
testing professionals as a means of recognizing software testers who demonstrate a
predefined level of testing competency.
NTI conducted the training on CSTE and I successfully attended and completed that.

¾ QTP training (22nd October 2007 – 13th December 2007)

Successfully attended a training of QTP arranged by Netsol which comprises mainly
basic level and advanced level of Quick Test Professional tool

¾ Business Communication (30th July 2007 – 24th August 2007)

Successfully attended training on Business Communication arranged by Netsol which
has its foremost focus on English Language communication.

¾ Soft Skills / Corporate Ethics (8th September 2008 – 12th September 2008)
Successfully attended training on Corporate Ethics and Soft Skills which gave me
opportunity to learn and practice new patterns of behavior and in so doing to
enhance productivity and organizational acceptability.

Participation in Quarterly published EI Newsletter at departmental level (Netsol) by
