To talk about leisure is to talk about Pacto Ltd. Founded in 1967, Pacto is recognized as one of
the pioneers and most established organizations in the Indonesian tourism industry.
Pacto Ltd now has 17 offices and has handled 35,000 customers in 2010, and aims to reach
40,000 in 2011. Pacto built its success through creativity, innovation, professionalism and
reliability, complemented by a customer-centered way of thinking.
“We believe that people’s satisfaction is our greatest reward. We continuously increase our
standard of quality and reliability through strategies centering on customers, and we are
determined to be the most cost-efficient operator in the industry. We also believe that all
businesses should respect the environment. Therefore, we had just planted 3,500 trees in Bali,
a number 3.5 times greater than our original plan, in a parallel mission with Bali’s government to
make Bali ‘Cleaner & Greener’ and we hope that other companies including our competitors will
follow our path,” said Umberto Cadamuro.
He also said that caring for the environment is a very important part of business. Tourism has taken a lot from nature, so now it is
time to give back. This year Pacto plans to replace their entire car fleet with hybrid cars as part of their eco-friendly movement.

exhibition, Yanik of Bali and Rie Mandala of Japan not
only share their individual expressions of their respective
cultural origins but also join together in a work. It is a
collaboration that began in 2001 but only realized now
a decade later. Both clearly express their opinions on
the meaning of the theme, preferring to work on paper
that they describe as having an ancient history in many
cultures. They write, “Paper demands precision of work.
