New Easter Theme: “He is Risen”

Colors of the Easter Egg
Pink - Pink stands for the joy we have
in knowing Jesus.
Red - Red stands for the blood of
Jesus shed on the cross.
Yellow - Yellow stands for Jesus who
is the light of the World
Gold - Gold stands for the streets of
gold in heaven
Black - Black stands for our sin that
Jesus will forgive.
Green - Green stands for growing in
Jesus as we read our Bible and pray.
Purple - Purple reminds us of Jesus
who is part of the Royal Godhead
(Trinity).
Orange- Orange reminds us of God’s
creation the orange sunset we see in
the sky.
White- White is for the sinless Lamb
of God who is pure and holy.

About our new theme: Children will sing
Easter songs and learn about Easter
from a Child’s perspective as well as
what the Bible has to share. They will be
engaged in Easter crafts (Jelly bean
craft, hosanna wreath, & stained glass
window), and will participate in puppets,
snacks, and bible memorization. They
will share the real meaning of Easter
using Easter eggs and palm branches.
Your child(ren) will have lots of fun as
they engage in this Easter season!
The Easter Pageant
The kids will continue to work on
Easter songs for: The Easter
Pageant” an Easter musical that
will be presented on Palm Sunday,
April 17 at 10:45 a.m. Please plan
to attend this event and invite
your family and kids’ teachers.

 April – 17th - The Easter Pageant Musical
 April – 23rd – Easter Egg Hunt – drawing for large
baskets (boy & girl). Hunt at 11:00 a.m. Bring your
plastic bag or basket.
 Kid’s Easter Practice – Wednesday 6-8 p.m.

Adult Class, Larry McIntosh

Adults meet in the annex on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Larry is
currently presenting a study on the “Secrets of the Vine,” an in-depth
study of how God wants to help you live an abundant life. Do you want
to have a fruit-bearing life? This class will show you how God will
change you from no fruit to fruit! Join us with all ages.

Senior Adult Class, Roberta Setters

Adults meet in the back of the church sanctuary on Sunday mornings
at 9:45 a.m. Bobby teaches a study of God’s Word that will give you a
greater understanding of the Bible. This class is for all ages and teaches
you how to be better equipped to be disciples for Christ.
