(English translation of Hindi discourse given by P.P. Aniruddha Bapu on 16th November 2006 on
Radhasahastranaam at New English High School, Bandra)

|| Hari Om ||

I bow to Radhaji who is the regulator of the Mann. The supervisor of the Mann; in whose
hands the control of the mind resides. One who controls, not the Mann but the support to
the Mann. The one who regulates the support to the Mann and supervises it, such a
Radha.

Has anyone ever seen the Mann (Mind)? If you stand in front of the mirror you can see
the physical body. You can see your face. But who knows whether the face is original or
duplicate? We ourselves also cannot make out the difference. If we look into our own past we find that we have
forgotten so many things. We either don’t remember or we don’t want to remember. It is difficult sometimes to
understand even those with whom we spent 24 hours of the day. In life; in our family; at our home; in our office; in
our school or college; in your shop; on the road; in the train; wherever we go we find thousands of people around us.
We keep meeting people; we meet some everyday; and some we may meet on alternate days; and some we meet after
several months.

For example you may have a real brother who loves you very much. You also love him very much. He stays in
Kolkatta and you live in Mumbai. And there is one more person whom you see everyday on the platform when you
board the train. You know him by his face but do not know his name or anything else about him. But you meet him
everyday. You meet him daily. He is a man whom you see everyday. On the other side you have a brother whom you
haven't met for 5 years. You may speak on the phone as it is done nowadays. But there is definitely a difference here.
When your brother says that he is going to meet you or may be he sends a letter or may be calls you saying "I am
going to come"; hearing this, our mind gets engrossed in thoughts. You feel 'Oh my brother is coming’. But the man
whom you meet on the platform; may be you know him or may be he is your friend. You meet him daily. But is he
related to you? You don’t feel that closeness. There is no reason to feel so. Why? Because you are not attached to him;
you do not love him. There is no relation between you and him.

But sometimes it happens the other way round. He may be related to you as a brother but the relation has enmity in it.
Brothers become each other’s enemies. This shows that only by a person being a blood relation or a legal relation like
the one of a husband and wife or may be a brother in law, which is a legal relation, does not create affection. Love
cannot be created. Only by taking the religious seven vows of marriage or just by going to the court and putting your
signatures does not make one husband and wife.

A mother gives birth. The municipality gives the birth certificate. But can the mother also give the birth certificate?
Or does the child have to give the mother a certificate that you are my mother? Does he have to file an affidavit? Does
he have to go to the court to give his signatures in order to show that this is my mother and I am her son? No! But still
there is attachment and love. Where does this love and attachment evolve? Where does it come from? We people say
that the heart is the place where love resides. The heart, which exists on the left side of the body, works like a blood
pump. That’s all. There is nothing called love that resides there. But then Love exists in the inner level (Antaha karan)
of the heart. And the mind (Mann) is a very small part of this inner level (Antaha karan) of the heart. And where does
this love reside exactly then? Where does this Mann reside exactly? So where does this Mann exist?

Some people think in terms of anatomy and physiology. According to them the cerebrum,
the lipic system and hythalamus are parts of the brain, which in a combined form is called
mind (Mann). No! Mann exists in every part of your body. Every cell has a mind. Mind
(Mann) does not exist only in the brain. One main component of the Mind (Mann)
definitely exists in the brain. But Mind exists in every other part also .The Mind exists in
each cell of every human being. Not only this, the Mind (Mann) exists in a stone also. This
means that it exists in non-living things also. This shows that the Mind (Mann) that resides
within every human being which he calls as his Mind (Mann) is actually a part and parcel
of a universal mind, which is called VishwaMann (global mind). This denotes that the Mind that exists with every
human being is definitely groomed and tailored by him but it is always a part of the Universal mind i.e. VishwaMann.

So where does Mind exists and where does it not exist? See just as I said you might live in Mumbai and your brother
may live in Kolkatta. Your mind can go to your brother. What is my brother doing? If you have a wife then what is my
wife doing? What is my sister doing now? What is my friend doing now? Mind can go to Kolkatta. But the Buddhi
(intellect) cannot go along with the Mann (Mind). Buddhi has its limitations. Thus the Buddhi functions as per the five
sense organs and the five organs of action. This is the limit of the Buddhi, human intellect has the freedom to do
whatever it wants to. But where does this Buddhi get its strength? Only from two places. One is from the 5
gyanendriyas and the 5 karmendriya that give the knowledge of what you experience. What you feel is what your
experience. I see; I listen; I try to understand; by doing all this, my Buddhi tries to attain stability and thereby its
strength increases. Hence along with the Mann our Buddhi cannot go to Kolkatta. Hence I cannot come to know as
what is happening there right now. But the Yogis (Saints) and Tapasvis (Sages) are such that their Buddhi has
expanded so much that they can go beyond the Mann and see and carry out tasks. They can sit here and understand as
to what is happening there. Not what might be happening but truly what is happening. However this extension of
Buddhi or this expansion of Buddhi cannot just happen by experiencing things. Only with the knowledge acquired
with the help of the sense organs does not instill that much strength to the Buddhi that it can go beyond its Maryada;
Let me repeat this, not going beyond the Maryada but extending its Maryada and attain knowledge in the extended
form. The potential of the Buddhi happens to be the most important thing for a human being.

To get good marks in school, Buddhi is required. To get promoted in office, Buddhi is essential. Here I am not talking
about giving bribes to secure promotions. However, for that too the Buddhi is used. We have to keep balance in our
life and family. We have to imbibe good education to our children. To run a good business and attain wealth for their
benefit, the Buddhi is required. And that too what type of Buddhi? The Buddhi that works together with Sumati and
not Kumati.
We have seen the first type or place from where the Buddhi gets the strength and that is from the Gyanenderiya i.e.
from our experience derived by the sense organs. But the strength that is instilled into the Buddhi from this is very
miniature in capacity. This Buddhi is in the control of the Pragya (source of wisdom) and this Pragya is one small part
of the Mahapragya. Mahapragya means Radhaji who keeps inspiring/vibrating strength into the Buddhi and instills
Samarthya (stability). This shows that the maximum strength that the Buddhi gets i.e. for example if the strength is
equivalent to 100 mg then 99.99% of strength comes from Bhakti. Only 0.1 % or 0/01% comes from our experience.
But every human being thinks that whatever strength I have attained is all because of my own experience and that’s
the greatness of my experience. Experience is also essential because one who does not put efforts to get the experience
cannot avail the 99% also. But the one who puts complete efforts and does lot of hard work and also does Bhakti along
with it, only to him this Mahapragya Radhaji; Umaji; Sitaji grants the strength to the empower his Buddhi. This
strength is very important to every human being as the potential of the Buddhi exists in every cell. It exists in our brain
also and at the same time moves around here and there. The Buddhi should get the strength to channelize the mind in
the right direction. The strength of the Buddhi should expand so that one can have control over his mind. Or moreover
it should strengthen the mind to do the right and the apt thing. Hence the source of support to the Mind is Buddhi.

The Buddhi is made up of two layers. There are two levels of Buddhi. One, which is called Shareer Buddhi and the
other that is called Deha Buddhi. The physical body is something which not only a human being but a germ also has.
Mosquito also has a physical body. But it does not have a Deha buddhi. This means that the Buddhi that it possesses is
restricted only to its Annamaya kosha (a phenomenon related to the physical body). This tries to understand the
sensory limitations of the physical body and tries to fulfill the needs of the physical body. Its Buddhi is capable to
utilize only that much stability and potential as much is required to perform this. But a human being along with
Bhoutik Deha also has the Pranmaya Deha (Soul) and Manomaya Deha (mind). The Pranmaya Deha exists in the
other organisms and creatures also. It exists in the animals too.

However the Manomaya Deha exists in fully explored form only in the Human beings.
Hence they are called as Manav (Human being). The Mann exists in a stone, it is there in a
germ, and it is there in a dog, a horse and even a donkey. But the progression of the
Manomaya kosha in these creatures has lot of difference when compared with the capacity
of the Manomaya Kosha of a human. Amongst the animals, the Manomaya Kosha exists in
its extended form in three animals. It exists in three animals. It is not plainly present but
exists. Compared to other animals, the Manomaya Body is in a far more extended form in
these three animals. One is dog and the other is cow. It can be cow or Bull. It can be dog
and bitch both. First is dog, second is Cow and the third is horse. The manomaya body present in them is in a much
more extended form compared to others. The fourth animal, which has comparatively better Manomaya Kosha than
the other animals but when compared with these three animals, it is less, is the elephant. Hence they are referred to the
3.5 yonis as they have their Manomaya josh comparatively in much extended form as compared to all other
organisms. Dog, Cow and Horse and in Elephant it is half the level as compared to the first three animals. Hence in
our Puranas (religious texts), Dharma Granths (Religious scriptures), in the Vedas and Upanishads it is said that after
84 lacs of Yonis one gets the Human form. This shows that progress happens according to some order. This is
basically the development of the human mind. This is the progression of the mind. Hence the human mind possesses
the mind of the amoeba as well as the mind of the Human. It has the mind of the dog and also that of a tiger. It has that
of Hyena also and that of a cow, horse and rat also. It has the donkey's mind also and that of snake also. After going
through or taking birth in all these Yonis, one gets the Human birth and thus a human being thus is the only creature to
possess the Mind of all these organisms within him. Hence we often say this that this man is like a snake. He can sting
like a snake. He is like a dog. He is like a donkey. This is because the attribute of those animals is what we find in
such human beings. We can see it.

But many a times it so happens that when we call others donkey, we later realize that actually we become a donkey.
This is something that happened some days ago. It is around 4-5 years ago. Just like this 10-12 people were sitting
here. One 19-20 year-old boy was saying this. "That man who is 20-21 year old is so very innocent”. He was talking
about another man. He is so innocent and is very simple and genuine. Look how he is always talking good things. He
never talks anything bad. He never looks at wrong places. He never reads bad things. And I always see movies. I keep
thinking about girls. I keep bunking colleges to see movies. I lie to my father to get 10-15 rupees. This shows how bad
I am. And thinking so he keeps abusing himself as to be very fraudulent. In his mind he feels that he is too smart and
too fraudulent. He also has the thought that he is very bad. But the boy had very good Bhakti within him. I told him,
"Oh son come with me. Will you come with me to roam around? He replied "Surely I will come". I took him along.
We went to so many places and that too in disguised attire, so that nobody recognizes us. At that moment, he realized
that when earlier he had called that man innocent and foolish, after seeing that man's acts this boy fainted. He told me
that, "Now I feel I am like what I presumed this man to be". This man turned out to be smarter than me. So smart that
in spite of doing all the wrong things he was still able to maintain a good impression in the society. He is able to show
that he is very innocent and genuine and good human being. This is what happens. When we call others donkey then
may be we are ourselves donkey in the first place. And the one whom we refer as donkey might be very smart and
intellectual.

Why does this happen? Because we are not able to recognize them. When we say that we know a person do we know
his intellect? What we recognize when we say that we know a person is we understand his body. We understand his
social identity or may be his Buddhi, as his Buddhi will reveal what it wants to show. The Mind of the intellect shows
that part of the intellect, which it feels it should show in front of the people. The part of the mind that the Buddhi does
not want to reveal is hidden. Hence when we say that we know this person very well, we should first try to understand
what do I mean by saying that I know this person very well? I am able to understand his form and I am able recognize
it. I am able to understand his social identity but I am not able to understand his mind. I am able to understand his
intellect but only when I am able to understand his mind will I be in a position to understand that person completely. It
may be about another person or may be about myself.

There is a proverb in Marathi that says, "Dista Tasa nastha mhanun jagg phastah". This
means that what seems is always not true and hence the world is always duped. Because what
is shown is what? It is the impression (effect) of the Buddhi. But in reality it should be the
impression of the Mind. The expression of the mind is the most important. It can be
imprinted on everyone. Hence do not go by looks and this is what our Grandmother and
Grandfathers have always told us. But we people always go by looks. If we want to
understand others then you may ask, Bapu how can we understand their mind? I have also
said this some days ago; may be one year back in the Sundarkand we see Hanumanji saying. I
am sure you all don’t know. But I always feel it is the most beautiful epic. At least if you read two lines every day it
will be good and beneficial to you. Just like Hanuman who is Mahapran.

Tulsidasji says that, ’O Hanuman you have helped the greatest of the Gods. I am only a mere human being. And why
will you ever delay to help me? The one who possesses so much strength to even help Lord Ram. The one who
protects the life of Lakshman and who goes to Lanka all alone as a messenger in search of Mother Sita. Neither does
HE makes use of magical power nor does penance to acquire knowledge. “O where will be Sita Maiyya”. He does not
say that she might be in Ashokvann. We should also not do as such. Can Hanuman not do such miracles? Did he do?
No! He didn’t. But we people run behind miracles. We people are foolish and thus we are donkeys. Hanumanji
himself never talks about miracles. Hanumanji reaches Lanka and starts searching. He reaches the house of Vibhishan
and sees that his house is decorated with all the picturesque view of the weapons of Ram.

Kapivar Hanumanji starts thinking if all this that he sees is just to dupe me? And at that moment what happens? He
waits for some time patiently to see what happens. Patience! At that moment Vibhishan wakes up from his sleep and is
not aware that somebody is watching him. He folds his hands and says, "Ram", "Ram", and “Shri Ram". Nobody is
seeing him. He is not doing it to show anybody but still he says Ramnaam. When? After waking up from sleep
immediately he says it. Only then Hanumanji realizes that he is truly a pious man. His mind recognized. Recognition
of the mind! Not of the Buddhi but recognition of the mind.

One can understand and recognize the mind of the other person only when the person is unaware that somebody is
observing him or watching him. At that moment his behavior is what depicts his true mind or is the true test of his
mind. You all may say that Bapu we cannot become invisible and move around or hide in the cupboard to see how a
man behaves. All this is not required. While roaming, moving, walking and wandering around also like an ordinary
man; while doing our daily work; while walking; in life many situations arise when the person sitting in front of me or
standing in front of me or may be walking around; this person is not attentive i.e. not alert of his surrounding. He is
not aware that we are observing him and that is the time to recognize him properly. That’s the moment to recognize
him; to know him. Hence we should be alert in life. We should be vigilant always. Attention is what we should have.
Our alertness should be firm. You people say this?
This alertness should always be vigilant. By doing this we will never make a mistake in recognizing people. What did
Hanumanji do? The one who is the most powerful of all.

| Umaan kachu kapi kayi adhikaai |
|| Prabhu pratap jo kaal hee khaai ||

Lord Shivji says this. Umaan kachu kapi kayi kadhikaayi. He says that 'O Uma there is no body stronger than this
Kapi. Be it the strength of the buddhi or the strength of the physical body or the power of the Mann. This Kapi always
performs with alertness in every task that HE does. He tries to understand the Mann of Vibhsihan. He does not try to
understand his fraudulence. We should also try to implement this alertness in our life.

We should try to build this alertness when we are interacting with the people who are in relation with us; their
behavior and not only their talks, but also their behavior and conduct will enable us to analyze the kind of person they
are. And if we do not possess the capacity to recognize the conduct of a person then too if we have true faith the God
definitely interferes. God interferes and not only interferes but also intervenes. HE very well knows that at which
moment HE should come and stand in between you and that person. HE knows when to knock at your door! When to
wake you from your sleep and HE is been doing this. He does it and definitely does it. But when? When this Mann
becomes Adhishtaatra daivo namaha only then. Only when we adopt the Marg of Radhaji and Sitaji. Only when we
walk on the Marg of Bhakti. At that moment this God or this Paramatma orders and sends the Mahapragya to help.
Even if the person is illiterate there is no problem. If he is foolish then too there is no
problem. He may be wealthy or he may be poor, still there is no problem. But still he
(Bhakt) is trying his best and putting efforts to come towards ME (God). Hence HE (GOD)
orders HER (Mahapragya Janaki mata) to go to him (Bhakt). Even if it is not written is his
fate (Prarabdh) to get more strength for his Buddhi, He asks her to increase some amount of
his fate to get that strength. God actually tells this. But that Mother is more compassionate
than HIM. Before GOD says this she is already done the preparations for the same.
Because she alone knows HIS (God's) mind. It was only Sita and Lakhan who knew the
Mind of the Lord. Radha and Balaram alone knew it. And hence they knew that the LORD has how much grace,
compassion and love towards HIS bhakts. SHE knows that the LORD is surely going to give me instructions to protect
by saying, "O Beloved, the strength that you possess, please transform it into Buddhi and grant it to my Bhakts,
though not mattering whether his fate has given him enough Buddhi or not. There is no problem”. And on the other
side this Lakshman or Balaram is also signaled and instructed to alert the Bhakts about their Maryada. Alertness!
Lakhsman Rekha. Lakhan Rekha. This means that it is Lakshman or Balaram or you may call him Maha Shesh who
actually creates the awareness in the Buddhi of the human being about his own limits of Maryada and the path to
achieve this is shown by Hanumanji.

In Sundarkand if you see, what has Hanuman done whenever there is a difficulty; He has immediately taken the
laghutva form (becoming small and humble). The miniature form! When does he attain this small form? When he
stands in front of Sitamaiyya. However to burn Lanka he takes a big and humongous form. He burns the entire Lanka
and later goes into the sea to extinguish the fire on his tail. And after that when he again stands in front of his mother
Sita, he is not in the huge form. Laghuroopa Turantha. He immediately takes the minimized form. When he enters
Lanka he is in the small form.

|| Masak Samaan Roop Kapi Dhari |
Lanko chaliyo Sumiri Narhari ||
Sumiri Narhari! When can we attain this minimized form? When we are taking the name of Narrhari. To attain this
small form means to remain in the boundaries of our Maryada and thus as one understands his Maryada he is then able
to take the name of the Lord i.e. do namasumiran. To recall the name of ShriRam or Lord Krishna or Lord Shiv or
Saibaba. Take the name of the God that you feel attached to. By doing this you can attain the minimized form i.e.
Laghutava. This laghu roop is that form with the help of which you can fight against whichever big and worst
difficulty that comes your way. But for this it is necessary that the main support of the Mann i.e. Buddhi should have
the strength which one can get by doing bhakti. To assimilate it in our mind; not to assimilate it in the Buddhi, but
with the help of buddhi assimilate it in your mind. With the help of buddhi one should build in that trust and faith in
one's mind that how much ever strength and capacity my Buddhi is able to attain in the human form is only due to
Bhakti.

In history, we can see that all those who were great, courageous, valorous and all those who were on the right path
always had bhakti in them. Be it the Lokmanaya Tilak or Mahatma Gandhi or Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose of 100
years back. Netaji was the worshipper of Goddess Kaali. Mahatma Gandhi worshipped Lord Ram. Lokmanya Tilak
worshipped Lord Ganesha. Earlier to that if we see, Ranapratap, Shivaji Maharaj, Guru Govind singhji Maharaj-- all
these were great Bhakts and devotees of the Lord. Their valour and heroism is incomparable. Now we are able to
understand here, that this courage exists in vast quantity with whom-- It remains with the Bhakts.

Guru Gobindsinghji Maharaj had two small children. One was 5 years old and the other 7 year old. The enemy
kidnapped them and presented them in front of the Emperor. They were warned that only if they were ready to leave
their Dharma they would be set free. We will make you the Jageerdaar and also make you the Sardar. If you will not
accept our Dharma then we shall put you in the fire that you can see ahead. We will kill you. What the 5 and 7 year
old kids answered is a proof of the strength of Bhakti. To live without GOD is worse than death. Please burn us down.
Now see, from where did these children get this courage? Only by the Namasmaran of the Lord. On account of the
Bhakti of the Lord. Whenever there is fear in our mind, whenever terror grips our mind, we should understand that
somewhere the name of the Lord in our heart/mind is not as much as required and on
account of this fear is gripping us. Because where the name of the Lord exists, there GOD
Himself exists and where there is GOD, fear cannot exist there at all. Fear cannot stay there
at all. It definitely cannot be there. If my mind is gripped with fear then I should understand
that the God's name in my mind is far less than what it is essential. If you are writing one
page of Ramnaam then start writing 10 pages. My child, this shows that there is a need to
do more Namasumiran.

First it is necessary to understand that the main support of Bhakti is our mind. And with the help of this Buddhi we
should try to get this Bhakti and Faith in our mind. Until and unless this does not reach our mind, it cannot be
expressed in our daily lives. It cannot be done.

This happened 2- 4 days back when I was speaking to Yogindraji and others. I was talking to them about Rasa
Sadhana. These people were going to teach Rasa Sadhana to others. Swapanil Sinhji and all. So we were talking on
this. I was suddenly reminded of my great grandmother. I refer to her as 'Dwarkamaai'. As usual one day she was on
her way to the Vitthal temple. As usual and as always her lips kept chanting either Sai's name or Vittal's name or
Ramraksha. While walking as such she hurt herself on her leg. She was very old then. Every hair had greyed. Her toe
started bleeding. She knew that her toe was bleeding. She knows it but still she kept walking. At that moment a middle
aged lady i.e. may be she was around 40-45 years old. She came running. She said, "Oh Mother your leg is hurt. It is
bleeding". Mai replied, “Yes". The lady asked her whether she should bandage it. Should I apply some ointment? I
have it with me. Mai replied "Sure. Please do”. The lady asked, "Is nobody with you? O.k. will accompany you to
your house”. She went with her. As she began bandaging they started chitchatting. The lady was very much inspired
by the talks. She was a doctor herself. She became so engrossed in the talks, she became happy and inspired that she
started accompanying MAI to the temple. Reaching there MAI was gazing at Vitthal and this lady was gazing at MAI.
What a beautiful thought. On their way back this lady began thinking in her mind that I have asked this MAI
everything i.e. her name, her address, where she stays and where she does she not stay. Everything I have asked. She
(Mai) has answered everything. But she (Mai) did not ask me my name? When they approached near to the lady's
house, MAI asked to her to proceed towards her home. I will go ahead. The lady even asked if she should accompany
MAI and leave her till her house. MAI refused her hospitality. She said "O Daughter you have already taken enough
pains for me. The lady who was a doctor asked MAI,"O Mother you haven’t asked me my name. There is no
nameplate in front of my house that you would have come to know about my name. We have spoken for so long now.
I have asked you your name. At that moment MAI replied, "O Daughter O sister, I know your name." "How do you
know my name", asked the lady. Now she was surprised. Mai said, "I know your name definitely. Your name can be
none other than Vitthal because I am fully aware that my Vitthal alone will come to help me in my distressful
situation. HE came in your form. That’s all. There is nobody else in this world for me other than HIM. Only Vitthal is
mine. Who else will come running to help me? With so much compassion. You do not know me but the compassion
and the love that evolved in your heart for me is truly the creation and form of Vitthal alone. Your identity is Lord
Vitthal for me. Brothers, look at her feelings. Looking at her feelings we should also feel in our heart that our mind
should also be like hers. Either today or tomorrow or may be day after tomorrow, I should imbibe this feeling within
me that my GOD is everything for me. Everything! Whatever pure exists in this earth is my GOD. Whatever is
virtuous is my GOD. My GOD can never take the form of anything that is impure and full of vice. He will never take
that form. This entire world is an illusion. This my MAI had completely understood. Hence she never identified the
stone that hit her as her GOD. I once asked her that, "Mai you accepted the lady doctor as God or Vitthal. Then why
didn’t you accept or identify that stone which hurt you also as Vitthal". To this she replied that, "O Son, God never
produces pain. HE never breeds sorrow",

What is the difference between a Bramhagyaani and a Bhakt? This is the difference, She very well knew that
everything is illusion (Bramha). But still she was convinced that this stone, which hurt me, could never be the form of
GOD. This is what a Bhakt says. What does a Gyaani say; this stone is also God because of which there was bleeding.
This blood is also God. But what about pain? Pain has to be borne is what a Gyani says. But a Bhakt does not have to
bear pain. He is very well aware as to where does GOD exist and where does GOD not
exist? We ordinary people should try to understand this concept as to where does GOD
exist and where does GOD not exist. God exists in selfless love; in deceit-less love. He is
present in Bhakti. He is there in the Namasumiran that is done with true feelings. He is
there in glorified songs of the Lord (Gajar). Listening to the thoughts of this old MAI, that
lady who had nobody in this world; who was widow; She neither had her husband nor a
brother and not even children. She was always immersed in sorrow. When she saw so much
Bhakti she started routinely accompanying my MAI to the temple. They began talking. Later on she had so many
friends who became closer than true relatives. Usually she always had patients to whom she would speak for 10-10
months. But now as she began going to the temple apart from the clinic she met many friends. After going to the
temple around 100-200 people started meeting her. She began to be called as “Aunt” in some households, and in some
households she was referred as “Sister” where somewhere else she was called as a “Mother”.

When my Great grandmother (Mai) expired and left for heavenly abode, this lady cried so much that neither my
grandmother (Nani) nor my mother cried that much. Many people wondered if she was her real daughter. How does
this happen my dear brothers? Her entire life became aromatic (Sugandhit) and this is the fragrance of Bhakti. This is
what we call "Mrutyunjayi"(Victory over death) the flavour of Bhakti is Mrutyunjay. Hence what is it that is
mentioned in the Mahamrutyunjay Jaap- A Jaap that we are doing and have been doing?

& Sugandhim PrushtiVardhanam &
Prushti means Bhakti. Prushti Marg means Bhakti marg. Sugandhim Prushti vardhanam means that the fragrance of
Bhakti; the fragrance of flower; the fragrance of blossoms exists as long as the flower is alive. As soon as it fades
away, its fragrance disappears. But the flower of Bhakti; such a flower that even if once it blossoms in your heart, then
this Sugandhim Prushtivardhanam can even win over death. Hence in the Maha Mrutyunjay Japp, this word
"Sugandhim Prushtivardhanam " is used.

"Trayambakam" means three clothes. I am doing a havan (sacred fire) of three clothes. Which are these three attires?
These are not the attire of the body. But I am doing the Yagnya (Sacred hymns) of the three levels of the body that I
possess. Sugandhim Prushtivardhanam. The physical body that I possess i.e. my sense organs, my hands, legs, eyes,
tongue; all of these will surely be used for serving the LORD some or the other time. This is the worship (Yagnya)
done of the physical body. Second is the Pranmaya level of the body. This attire, which is identified with the
Pranmaya level of my body, is offered for worship. This Pran (life) that is given by GOD ultimately belongs to HIM.
Having this faith, I should accept that this breath and this life of mine is running just because of the will of the LORD.
This should be my firm faith. Hence the strength that I have; the flow of my life; the Saamarthya that I possess for the
life flow should always be used for the Seva and Bhakti of the Lord. This is the Havan (sacred fire) of the second
attire i.e. the Pranmaya body.

Now the Havan of the third level i.e. the Manomaya Deha does not denote that we should place GOD in our mind. It is
very difficult to place GOD in our heart. It is also difficult to love GOD. It is really very difficult to love GOD. It is
very easy to accept HIS love. It is very very easy. It is necessary to get the love of GOD; to
slurp the love of GOD; to make every effort to accept the Love of God; to practice this is
very essential. Who are we to love God? We are nobody. God always loves us. We have to
only learn how to accept this love of God; how to imbibe it and how to get it. We people
love GOD. You can say this. There is no problem in saying. But before that try to
understand how much HE loves you. How much does GOD love us? How much does HE
love- Infinite. He loves us infinitely. To understand this is the first step. After this one
should make oneself capable to accept that love. Practice and educate oneself as to how to
get that love. This is the second step. And Radhaji provides this knowledge or education. This Sitmaya; this Janaki
Mata; this Umaji. They are the ones who provide us this knowledge as to how to accept the love of God. Radhaji gives
this knowledge of acceptance

Thus you might love God. After all you are a human being. You keep increasing love. But first try to understand how
much does GOD love me. Try to understand HIM. Try to see HIS love. Try to understand HSI love. By doing this you
will automatically increase your capacity to love. It will increase on its own. It will also increase the capacity of the
Buddhi. Because finally what is the support (Adhishtan) of this Radhaji. What is her prime sustenance? Her Adhsihtan
is to have undivided status of love towards HER GOD; status of Love! Only because of the love for her children she
separated from her husband. But still she remains ONE with HIM. Similarly if I want to live a complete family life, if
I want to live a householders life and also want to live a spiritual life, if I want to walk on the Bhakti marg and earn
money after restraining myself from desires and refraining from going on the wrong path, then firstly I have to make
my mind understand as to how much does GOD love me. This is what we have to understand. We should try to learn
the skills (Vidya) and process (Paddhati), which will teach us how to acquire God’s love, and I (Bapu) have
mentioned about these procedures in the Trutiya Khanda.

It is called Rasa Sadhana. Under Rasa Sadhana in the Trutiya Khand I have mentioned about a Vrath called Shri
Vardhaman Vrathadhiraj. I very well know that until now this Granth is released only in Marathi. Hence many people
will find it difficult to read it. This Vrath is going to be started in the month of Margsheersh (December) i.e. next
month. Not in this month. Thereby Dr. Yogindra Joshi will explain about this on next Thursday and for the first time I
will be present to hear it. I also want to see how does this child speak to you all. This Vardhamaan Vrathadhiraj Vrath
is such a vrath by which one can wash not only the sins of his past two births but many more births till date. It is very
easy but only when it is done with love. It is base less if it is done as a Karmakaand only. The translation of the Granth
will come later. But the Chapter on Vardhamaan Vrathadhiraj is of 5-6 pages. Yogindra how many pages are there?
24-25 pages? The translation of this will come in Hindi first and later in English in the form of a small booklet. It will
come no? It will surely come! Now that I have said it, these guys will have to work for it now. If this comes soon then
all those who cannot read Marathi easily can have the entire illustration in Hindi and English.

But still Yogindra Bhaiyya will explain to all of us next week. I will also sit here and listen because I myself will be
doing this Vrath. When Yogindra will explain you will come to know how this Vrath was originated and who all have
done this vrath until now, and who is been doing it now and will be doing it always. Hence
next time when you people come please carry a pen and some pages as much as required.
And please note down all that Yogindraji explains. I will also sit amongst you all as a
student. I have no desire to sit detached from you all. Please try to understand this first. My
wish is to sit with you all. I want to be with you and not away from you. I do not like this
that I sit here alone and my children sit away like this in front of me. I wish to hug/embrace
my children and talk to all my children. But when will this happen? this embracing and
talking? It is not on the physical level. It is totally at a very different level. I want to be with
my children in form of pure love. It is surely not my Dharma to sit here on the dais and give Pravachan. This is not my
nature. If tomorrow somebody asks me to stop conducting Pravachans, then I will clap my hands. Ok! I will stop
giving Pravachans.

I simply want to be with people, with my friends; with people does not mean other people but my own friends, my
people; I want to sing and dance with my friends. I am ever ready for this. But are my friends ready to dance with
me every time? They want to make me dance. They don’t want to dance. However, I am such a person, who wants
to make everyone dance and I have been making them dance.
