If you’re looking for somewhere to serve at FLC, this may be
for you! In their designated month, Altar Guild members:
- Fill the Communion cups

- Maintain the acolyte robes and supplies

Congregational Vote Held on
Sunday, April 17th
At a "Special Congregational Meeting" held on April 17th,
the people of God here at FLC voted overwhelmingly to
issue a Pastoral Call to Janel Kuester to serve as part-time
Pastor of Congregational Care here at Farmington Lutheran.
If you didn't have an opportunity to meet Pastor Janel last
summer when she briefly served here as a "pastoral
assistant", you are in for a real treat in the days ahead.
Pastor Janel brings to us a wealth of gifts well suited to our
present needs in this period of transition, not the least of
which is a personality that bubbles over with the joy of
Christ Jesus and a passion to share the Good News in the
world. I know that I am personally very excited about this,
for although I love serving here as your pastor, it is time to
share that privilege with a partner in ministry.
Pastor Janel will begin her ministry at FLC on Monday, May
9th. Please see the invitation to her ordination at House of
Prayer Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 14th below.
