For this research project I will be demonstrating and give examples on how other European countries

are further along advanced than the United States in the development of clean energy sources.

P R OP OS ED PR OGR AM:

The topic that I will be researching consist of one European country, (Germany)it’s advancement in

renewable energy sources. Also, Germany’s renewable energy sources will be compared to United States
energy sources to prove that Germany is far more advanced than the United States. To prove that Germany

is far more advanced than the United States, Germany’s government energy policies will be described as

well as the United States; this will show which countries value clean energy. Also each country will show

their renewable energy plants if there is any, to make a valid comparison.

Since the countries natural resources have been going scarce, each country are trying to come up with

clean renewable energy source to ensure a cleaner environment. In this investigation each country history

in clean energy search will be included to describe and show which country has made faster attempts in the

change to clean energy sources. Also both countries framework in start for clean energy resources will be

included to prove which country is further ahead. In this case I will be proving that Germany is further

ahead than the United States through investigation.

This project will include the completion of the following tasks:

Task 1: Use the library resources and databases to research how the renewable resources work.

Task 2: Use the library resources and databases to research the effectiveness of the renewable

resources.

Task 3: Research the political and social dimensions of using renewable energy sources.

Task 4: Write a technical report comparing the effectiveness of German renewable resources and the United

States.

I, Alexis Carter, will be providing this report, and am fully competent to accomplish this task. My

qualifications include:

 Life Sciences Major.

 My interest in competition between other countries, specifically how far advanced they are,

and what new technologies do they have than the United States.

 I also have added interest in clean energy than damaging the enviornment.
