BACKPLATE
1. Before beginning the installation, carefully unpack and identify all parts referring
to the illustration.
(2)OUTLET BOX
2. Turn the electrical power to installation point OFF at circuit breaker .
SCREWS(not supplied) 3. Slip down the GLASS PANELS into the CAGE. Position the TABS onto the top
edge of the GLASS PANELS and align the holes to the mounting holes on the
INNER BACKPLATE
top edge of the CAGE. Thread the LOCK SCREWS into the MOUNTING
HOLES and hand tighten until snug to secure the panels.
4. Install the correct bulbs referring to the fixture markings and/or labels for
FIXTURE maximum wattage.
(4)MOUNTING SCREWS COVER
5. Lift the CAGE upward and make the hole on the bottom center over the nipple
on the bottom of the JUNCTION BOX. Secure them with the HEX NUT and
(2)WALLANCHORS LOCK SCREW tighten until snug. Proceed to thread the FINIAL onto the nipple extruded
(not supplied)

from the bottom of the CAGE. Hand tighten until snug.
6.Locate the INNER BACKPLATE onto the OUTLET BOX and match the holes on the
(2)PAN HEAD SCREWS INNER BACKPLATE with the mounting holes on the OUTLET BOX. Use a pen,
(not supplied) mark the location for the WALLANCHORS(not supplied). Drill holes on the marks
and then push the WALLANCHORS(not supplied) into the holes.
SUPPLY WIRE and SOCKET 7.Place the INNER BACKPLATE on the BACKPLATE and align the holes in the
GROUND WIRE
GLASS PANEL BACKPLATE with a set of threaded holes in the INNER BACKPLATE. Install the
(4)MOUNTING BALLS (4) MOUNTING SCREWS in the aligned threaded holes on the INNER
BACKPLATE. Next, mount the INNER BACKPLATE to the outlet box with the
JUNCTION BOX (2) OUTLET BOX SCREWS (not provided) and use a screw drill to thread the
(2)PAN HEAD SCREWS(not supplied) into the WALL ANCHORS(not supplied).
Hand tighten until snug.
MOUNTING HOLE 8. Make the connections: Use wire connectors(not supplied) connect the HOUSE
GROUND to the FIXTURE GROUND WIRE; attach the HOUSE WHITE WIRE
to FIXTURE WHITE (or RIBBED SIDE) SUPPLY WIRE; connect the HOUSE
BLACK(or RED) WIRE to the FIXTURE BLACK(or SMOOTH SIDE) WIRE.
Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape.
CAGE
9. Carefully tuck all wires into the WALL MOUNTED OUTLET BOX and position the
fixture over the outlet box. Align the HOLES in the BACKPLATE with the
( 4) MOUNTING SCREWS attached to the INNER BACKPLATE. Pass the fixture
over the ( 4) MOUNTING SCREWS and secure it against the wall by threading the
( 4) MOUNTING BALLS onto end of screws. Tighten until snug.
10.Refer to Page 2 for fixture caulking installations.
11. Restore power to the installation point ON. Retain this sheet for future reference.

With the OUTDOOR FIXTURE properly installed in accordance with supplied
assembly/installation instructions, proceed with caulking instructions below.

Note: Be sure EXTERIOR WALL SURFACE and FIXTURE BACKPLATE are free to dirt to
caulking. Using EXTERIOR GRADE CAULK, start on one side of FIXTURE BACKPLATE and
EXTERIOR GRADE follow contour, were the FIXTURE BACKPLATE meets the EXTERIOR WALL SURFACE
CAULK
upward. Proceed to caulk over top of backplate and down other side. DO NOT CAULK
BOTTOM OF FIXTURE BACKPLATE to ensure proper moisture drainage.
