ANALYSIS

On the first part of the experiment, it was observed that the magnetic flux of lines
depends on the position of the magnets. When magnets face each other of the same poles, the
magnetic field of line is keeping away and moves in opposite direction. When it is unlike poles,
the magnetic field of lines is attracted from N poles moving to S poles. When the iron ring is
placed in between the two U-magnets, the magnetic field of lines is concentrated on the iron
ring.
On the second part, it was observed that the magnet experiences a force whenever a
charge is moving in the magnetic field. I observed that the more the magnet place, the greater
the magnetic field and the greater the magnetic force applied. On part B, I observed that the
when the current moving in the magnetic field increases, the magnetic force increases. On part
C, I observed that changing the current loop will change the magnetic force. The longer the
length of the current loop, the greater the magnetic force exerted. On part D, it was observed
that when the magnetic force has positive value, it means that the force is downward. When
the magnetic force is negative, it means that force is upward. The magnetic force increases
when the angle increases. The maximum downward force is at 90 o angle and the maximum
upward force is at -90o angle. The minimum value of the magnetic force is at 0 o, the current is
parallel to the magnetic field. The maximum value of the magnetic force is at 90 o, the current
is perpendicular to the magnetic field. Our maximum value of force is 7.84x10 -3 N and our
minimum value is 0 N respectively.

CONCLUSION

I have studied the nature of magnetic fields around the poles of magnets. The magnetic
field of lines leaves the N poles and enters the S poles. Magnets of the same poles repel each
other and magnets with unlike poles attract each other. Any magnetic material placed between
the poles of the magnets will be attracted and its magnetic field of lines is concentrated in the
magnetic material like the iron ring in our experiment.
I have studied the nature of relationship between magnetic force and magnetic field,
current, length and orientation of current-carrying wire. Any moving charge particle that enters
the magnetic field will experience a force. The magnetic force is always perpendicular to the
direction of the magnetic field and the moving charge. The more the magnets present, the
larger the magnetic field and the greater the magnetic force. The greater the current that
enters the magnetic field, the greater the force exerted. The length of current loop also affects
the magnetic force, the longer the length of the loop, the greater the magnetic force. Changing
the orientation of the current-carrying wire changes the magnetic force. The magnitude of force
on a current carrying wire is minimum, when the current flows parallel to the magnetic field.
The magnitude of force is maximum when the current flows perpendicular to the magnetic
field.
