Evaluation of Feedback Mechanisms for Undergraduate and


Postgraduate Programmes in the School of Engineering at
RGU

Introduction
This questionnaire aims to obtain information relating to the prevailing
feedback mechanisms in the School of Engineering at Robert Gordon
University and the impacts on how the students engage with and use
feedback to enhance their learning. The questionnaire has therefore been
designed to target both undergraduate and postgraduate students of
School of Engineering across all the course offerings and modes of
delivery. The information taken from this questionnaire would be
processed to obtain necessary data relating to the subject of study. The
data will be analysed and used to improve the quality of feedback and
enhance the quality of teaching and learning in the School of Engineering.
The data may also be used for conference presentation or other
publications.

How to complete the questionnaire


This questionnaire is divided into 8 parts – Parts A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H.
Part A contains questions relating to your course of study. These
questions are meant to classify you into the appropriate course of study.
Each question has multiple choice answers; boxes are provided against
each answer. Just put a tick in the appropriate box for the answer of your
choice. One box should be ticked for each question in all cases except
where it is specifically stated that you may tick all answers that apply.
Where space has been provided for you to include additional information,
please make your entry brief and concise.

Completion time
This questionnaire would take approximately 25 minutes to complete.

Confidentiality and anonymity of respondents


The questionnaire has been designed to exclude identity information so
that as a respondent, you can remain anonymous and confidential
information about you can be protected.
