Notes: 1. Alternate row for 11-12 is re: comments on Monday May 9th that there are still 300 military dependents in the system.
2. Total $ are per Finance Department data; P Tax $ are as well.
3. Enrolment figures in early years are from School Department presentations; in later years from Maine DOE data submitted by School Dept.
4. Enrolment is reported to DOE on April 1 and October 1; hence the two extra figures for the 09-10 and 10-11 school years.
5. "$/Att" = Spending per attending student
6. "5yr % Inc" = 5 year total percentage growth
7. "P tax $" is total property tax revenue for schools; "PT$/Att." is property tax $ per attendee.
8. "What if" column calculates per student total cost if it grew by 5% per year; "Total" would be total spending under that rule; "Diff" is how much spending would have differed from actual spending.
9. GPA numbers are incomplete and have not been rechecked.
