IT IS ALL IN THE ATONEMENT

Complete in Christ

● Eph 1:3 – Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ

○ Col 2:10 – You are complete in Him

○ Eph 2:6 – Sitting in heavenly places in Christ
■ We do not often reflect the reality that we are in Heaven
● We are heavenly creatures on an earthly experience!

It is all in the atonement

● Isaiah 53
○ Who has believed our report? - FAITH
■ Who is going to approach this thing with a an attitude of faith?
● Mark 9:23 – all things are possible to him who believes!
○ All things!!!!
■ Just keep on believing
● Bishop Garlington: Many people quit just one prayer
away from breakthrough
● Luke 18 – Persistence – demanding Diving Justice!!!!
○ Keep on believing – for that restoration
○ Keep on praying – for that healing
○ Keep on trusting – for that reconciliation
● Learn how to GROW in faith (see below)

○ To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? - POWER

■ Mark 12:24 – Saducees
● You do not know the scriptures NOR the power of God
○ Grounded in the Word AND
○ Knowing the POWER

■ It is not enough to have a few memorized verses for

evangelism
● Rom 10:17 – FAITH (see above) comes by hearing -
and hearing BY THE WORD of God
○ We can HEAR FROM GOD!

■ BY THE WORD is how we grow in faith!

● It is our SWORD (Eph 6)

■ With more faith – comes more POWER

● Your study of the bible should lead to EXPERIENCE
the raw power of God
○ If not it is purely intellectual.
■ And you will not know either the POWER nor the
SCRIPTURES (Which are supposed to lead you to
HIM)

○ V2. - He shall grow up before Him! - MATURITY!

■ Root out of dry ground
● Feeling dry?
○ Press-in for WORD/POWER

○ V4. - Surely he has borne our griefs (sicknesses)

■ And carried our sorrows (pains)
● He has borne ALL our sicknesses (Psalm 103:3)
○ ALL sickness is laid upon HIM
■ You do not have to carry it!

● All sorrows/pain – carried by HIM

○ You do not have to carry it!
■ Sorrow
● Emotional pain
● Depression]
● Anxiety
○ Matt Redman – Trading my sorrows
■ I'm trading my sorrows
■ I'm trading my shame
■ I'm laying the down
■ for the joy of the Lord

○ V5. - The punishment for our peace was upon HIM.

■ Punishment = discipline/correction
● wounded for our transgressions
● Bruised for our iniquities
○ The price has already been paid!!!!
■ Stop beating yourself up!!!

■ PEACE = Shalom
● Completeness
● Soundness
● Health
● Prosperity
● Contentment
● Friendship
● Welfare
● Security

○ This has all been BOUGHT for you by the blood of the
Lamb!!!!!
■ 3 Jn 2 – Prosper / be in health / prosperity of soul
■ 2 Ti 1:7 – Power / Love / Sound mind

○ By HIS stripes WE ARE healed.

■ He was wounded/crushed
● Price has been paid
○ Like in a restaurant when a stranger pays your bill
■ You cannot pay the price – because it has been paid
■ We owed a huge bill – and Jesus (Our enemy at the
time) stepped-in and paid for it!
■ Not only salvation (see below) – but also includes
healing/deliverance.
○ It has been paid - You can now claim delivery!

○ Heb 7:25 – Able to save them to the uttermost that come

to God by Him
■ Save – Sozo
● Save
● Heal
● Deliver
○ (Make whole)

● Mat 28:20 – All authority has been given to Him

○ Go therefore!
■ Isaiah 60:1 – Arise, Shine (Not reflect)
● Your light has come / Glory is risen upon you! - Light of
world??– Jn 9:5 (used to be) – NOW = Mat 5:14 ! ! ! !
