DISCREPÂNCIA REPORTADA ( DISCREPANCY REPORTED):
Este documento foi emitido com o objetivo de fornecer instruções técnicas para a realização da troca das baterias dos megafones instalados nas aeronaves. Esta ação é considerada de baixa complexidade e não afeta sistemas da aeronave. (This document was issued to provide the technical instructions for batteries replacement of megaphones onboard the aircraft. This action is considered as low complexity and does not affect the aircraft systems).
ANÁLISE DA ENGENHARIA (ENGINEERING ANALYSIS):
A fonte de alimentação usada no megaphone consiste em 6 pilhas padrão AA de 1,5V. A perda mínima de corrente é de 12 mA com o megaphone “ON”, e aumenta quando o auto falante é acionado. (The power supply used in the megaphone consists of six standard 1½ volt “AA” size batteries. Current drain is minimal (12 mA) with the megaphone “ON”, and increases when the user speaks into the microphone).

A substituição das pilhas deve ser realizada removendo-se os três parafusos de fixação da tampa que acessa o local do armazenamento das pilhas. (Battery replacement is accomplished by removing three set screws while holding the microphone and mouthpiece assembly in place).
As seis pilhas, contidas em três canaletas, duas pilhas por canaleta, são imediatamente acessíveis quando aberto a tampa de acesso. (The six cells, contained in three tubes with two cells per tube, are immediately accessible and will drop out when the megaphone is tilted).
Instale as novas baterias de PN N110-11-17-011 nas canaletas conforme necessário, observando-
se a polaridade de cada pilha na canaleta. Alinhe a tampa e feche novamente com os três parafusos. (New batteries, PN N110-11-17-011, may be dropped into the tubes, observing polarity marking adjacent to each tube. Replace microphone and mouthpiece assembly. Align keyway and secure with the three set screws).
CUIDADO: Observe cuidadosamente a polaridade das pilhas antes da substituição. (CAUTION:
Carefully observe polarity of cells before replacement).
