Job Responsibilities:

During the various construction/execution stages of above projects, I was entrusted with the
following responsibilities.
 Designing:

 HVAC systems design as per ASHRAE & SMACNA including heating & Cooling Load
Calculation, Equipment Selection, Duct sizing, External Static pressure calculations, Pipe
sizing, and Pump head calculations etc.
 Shop Drawings preparation for all above mentioned streams as per recommended codes,
considering project requirements
 Coordinating all design documents, control function between all other disciplines of engineering
like Architects, Structural Engineers, and Electrical Engineers etc.
 Guiding and supervising the team of draughtsman to prepare shop drawings.

Execution:

 Design review of shop drawings, project specifications and related documents.

 Supervising the installation of HVAC systems, including Chillers, AHU’s, Package units,
FCU’s, Pumps, Fans, chilled water piping and Air distribution ducts etc as per recommended
codes of practice.
 Testing, Balancing and Commissioning of HVAC systems as per ASHRAE , SMACNA
standards
 Ensuring the proper Installation of Plumbing system including Fixtures, Pumps of different
types, and Grey water system etc.

 Preparation of all Mechanical Material Submittal and seeking approvals.
 Guiding draughtsman in shop drawings preparations & As-built submissions.
 Supervising the sub-contractors, and the team of skilled and non skilled labors.
 Supervising construction Activities, and ensuring that the work is progressing as per the
schedule, conforming to the project specifications and Quality.
 Inspecting the project work with consultant and proposing the alternate solutions for the
execution and rectification if required.
 Getting Approvals of the executed work thru RFI and preparing Payment certificates.
 Preparation of Bi-weekly and monthly project progress reports.
 Preparing Material inspection request after receiving of material on site.
 Attending the work progress meetings, identifying the area of concern etc.
 Co-ordination of mechanical work with other discipline for proper execution of work at site.
 Air balancing of Hvac system as per the flow rate mentioned on layout.
