What Are The Goya-
Mundus Grants?
The Regional Government of Madrid is promo-
ting this initiative in cooperation with 14 uni-
versities from the region of Madrid.
The aim of the project is to provide higher
education students with 100 grants in order to
do a 3 month internship in a company or ins-
titution, helping Spanish university students
to complement their education and acquire
work experience in Europe, Asia or in the Uni-
ted States of America.
The Universidad Pontificia Comillas is the co-
ordinator of the GOYA-MUNDUS programme.

Company/Institution
Candidates are highly skilled in their field of
studies.
Employee linguistic skills may be improved.
Interns offer companies and institutions the
chance to build long term contacts with Euro-
pean universities.
European know-how is integrated into the or-
ganisation, which in turn increases its compe-
titiveness.

The Goya-Mundus beneficiaries receive for
their three-month stay:
Around 2.660 euros if the host institution
is located in Europe.
Around 3.060 euros if the host institution
is located in Asia or in the United States.
This grant includes an accident and medical
insurance policy.
While the host company is under no obli-
gation to remunerate the beneficiaries, the
company may make any contribution that it
deems appropriate to supplement the econo-
mic funding of the placement.

Any company or institution (NGO, public enti-
