I started a miniature business of part-time catering desserts, since baking and cooking are
both of my main hobbies.
Tasks that I have undertaken:

- Contacting a list of potential customers consisting of friends and family.

- Focus on developing a positive Word of mouth and understanding its massive effect

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Usher, the 6th African Symposium on Statistical Development (ASSD),
October 31st - November 2nd 2010

I joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ushering team in the 6th ASSD. Before joining them I
really did not comprehend the concept of team work and cooperation. The main objective
gained from my participation was learning how to work with others even though every person
has his own method of performing his tasks.

Tasks undertaken:

- Guiding foreign delegates to their seats.

- Organizing every country’s representative’s desk with hearing aids, notebooks, and a
summary of the symposium.

- Accompanying delegates to social events and gatherings.

- Teaching delegates about the Egyptian culture and translating several idioms.

I participated in a training program in PwC, Corporate Responsibility Department. Before
discussing the tasks that were undertaken, the staff members had to ensure I understood the
importance of CR and its actual meaning.
