PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION, Washington, DC * 1990-Present
Principal federal investigations agency focused on enforcing federal law and con
ducting sensitive national security investigations.
Deputy Assistant Director, Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate (2009-Present
): Lead weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and chemical, biological, radiological
and nuclear (CBRN) and infrastructure threat assessment, preparedness, preventi
on, mitigation and investigation activities worldwide, overseeing a team of 200.
Manage $26M budget, creating and implementing quarterly spending plans. Recruit
, hire and train staff. Represent team in threat evaluation and incident respons
e reporting at the White House as well as on the National Security Staff Interag
ency Policy Committee. Testify before House and Senate Select Committees on WMD,
CBRN and infrastructure issues.

Exploitation Section, leading 140 intelligence analysts engaged in gathering in

ons strategy shifts, working with multidisciplinary teams, including the Departm
ent of Defense, US Treasury and Department of Justice personnel.

ed as member of the National Media Exploitation Center Executive Board.
CAREER NOTE: Prior FBI assignments include an Assistant Special Agent in Charge
position in Portland, Oregon (2002-2004), Supervisory Special Agent service in t
he Minneapolis Field Office (1999-2002), service in the Criminal Investigation D
ivision Headquarters (1997-1999 - working at the CIA) and Special Agent service
in the Washington Field Office (1990-1997).
Worked as an Exercise Physiologist in the State of Georgia Department of Public
Safety prior to joining the FBI, launching new program and developing curriculum
to train local, state and federal law enforcement agents as well as firefighter
s on health, physical fitness, stress management, wellness and scuba diving. Det
