Perform initial assessments, perform home evaluations, perform custom wheelchair
evaluations, establish plan of care, provide treatments consisting of exercise,
self care, home management, activity tolerance, perform splint evaluations, pro
vide treatments using diathermy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation (PENS) and e
stablish discharge planning; perform managerial duties when program manager is n
ot present such as establishing Medicare RUG categories, scheduling for PT/OT, a
ttending department meetings; providing quarterly in-services to facility staff
on custom wheelchairs and positioning.
