according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it [to] the
right hand or [to] the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

(Jos 1:8) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate
therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written
therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good
success.

(Jos 1:9) Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid,
neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest.

(1Sa 16:16) Let our lord now command thy servants, [which are] before thee, to seek out a

the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;

and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will

and night.

(Psa 1:3) And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his
fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

(Psa 1:4) The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

the LORD [is] pure, enlightening the eyes.

[are] true [and] righteous altogether.

dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great
transgression.

sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

(Psa 23:2) He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still
waters.

sake.

(Psa 23:4) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:
for thou [art] with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

enquire in his temple.

(Psa 27:5) For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his
tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
(Psa 27:6) And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me:
therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises
unto the LORD.

(Psa 27:7) Hear, O LORD, [when] I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and
answer me.

(Psa 27:8) [When thou saidst], Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD,
will I seek.

(Psa 27:9) Hide not thy face [far] from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast
been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

(Psa 27:10) When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

(Psa 27:11) Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine
enemies.

(Psa 27:12) Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen
up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

(Psa 27:13) [I had fainted], unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the
land of the living.

wait, I say, on the LORD.

drove him away, and he departed.> I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise [shall]
continually [be] in my mouth.

(Psa 34:2) My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear [thereof], and
be glad.

(Psa 34:3) O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

(Psa 34:4) I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

(Psa 34:5) They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

troubles.

(Psa 34:7) The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and
delivereth them.

him.

good?

(Psa 34:14) Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

(Psa 34:15) The eyes of the LORD [are] upon the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto
their cry.

(Psa 34:16) The face of the LORD [is] against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance
of them from the earth.

troubles.

them all.

(Psa 34:20) He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.

(Psa 34:21) Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

(Psa 34:22) The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in
him shall be desolate.

(Psa 37:4) Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine
heart.

(Psa 37:5) Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass.

(Psa 37:8) Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

inherit the earth.

way.

with] his hand.

(Psa 37:25) I have been young, and [now] am old; yet have I not seen the righteous
forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

(Psa 37:26) [He is] ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed [is] blessed.

(Psa 37:27) Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

(Psa 90:10) The days of our years [are] threescore years and ten; and if by reason of
strength [they be] fourscore years, yet [is] their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut
off, and we fly away.

(Psa 90:12) So teach [us] to number our days, that we may apply [our] hearts unto wisdom.

(Psa 90:15) Make us glad according to the days [wherein] thou hast afflicted us, [and] the
years [wherein] we have seen evil.

(Psa 91:1) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the
shadow of the Almighty.

(Psa 91:2) I will say of the LORD, [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I
trust.

(Psa 91:3) Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the noisome
pestilence.

(Psa 91:4) He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his
truth [shall be thy] shield and buckler.

(Psa 91:5) Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flieth
by day;

(Psa 91:6) [Nor] for the pestilence [that] walketh in darkness; [nor] for the destruction
[that] wasteth at noonday.

(Psa 91:7) A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall
not come nigh thee.

(Psa 91:8) Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

(Psa 91:9) Because thou hast made the LORD, [which is] my refuge, [even] the most High,
thy habitation;

(Psa 91:10) There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

(Psa 91:11) For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
(Psa 91:12) They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

(Psa 91:13) Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt
thou trample under feet.

(Psa 91:14) Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him
on high, because he hath known my name.

(Psa 91:15) He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I [will be] with him in trouble; I
will deliver him, and honour him.

(Psa 91:16) With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

(Psa 118:17) I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

my help.

(Psa 121:4) Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

(Psa 121:5) The LORD [is] thy keeper: the LORD [is] thy shade upon thy right hand.

(Psa 121:6) The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

(Psa 121:7) The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

(Psa 121:8) The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth,
and even for evermore.

(Psa 124:1) <A Song of degrees of David.> If [it had not been] the LORD who was on our
side, now may Israel say;

(Psa 124:2) If [it had not been] the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against
us:

(Psa 124:3) Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

(Psa 124:4) Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:

(Psa 124:5) Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

(Psa 124:6) Blessed [be] the LORD, who hath not given us [as] a prey to their teeth.
(Psa 124:7) Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken,
and we are escaped.

(Psa 124:8) Our help [is] in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

(Psa 127:1) <A Song of degrees for Solomon.> Except the LORD build the house, they
labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh [but] in
vain.

(Psa 127:3) Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his]
reward.

(Psa 127:4) As arrows [are] in the hand of a mighty man; so [are] children of the youth.

(Psa 127:5) Happy [is] the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed,
but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

(Psa 133:1) <A Song of degrees of David.> Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for
brethren to dwell together in unity!

(Psa 133:2) [It is] like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard,
[even] Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;

(Psa 136:1) O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for
ever.

(Psa 136:12) With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy [endureth] for
ever.
(Psa 136:13) To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy [endureth] for ever:

(Psa 136:14) And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy [endureth] for
ever:

(Psa 136:15) But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy [endureth]
for ever.

(Psa 136:16) To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy [endureth]
for ever.

(Psa 136:20) And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy [endureth] for ever:

(Psa 136:21) And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy [endureth] for ever:

(Psa 136:25) Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

(Psa 136:26) O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

(Psa 137:1) By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered
Zion.

(Psa 137:2) We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.

(Psa 137:3) For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that
wasted us [required of us] mirth, [saying], Sing us [one] of the songs of Zion.

(Psa 137:4) How shall we sing the LORD'S song in a strange land?

(Psa 150:3) Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and
harp.

(Psa 150:4) Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments
and organs.

increase:

(Pro 3:10) So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new
wine.

(Pro 3:11) My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his
correction:

delighteth.

understanding.

sleep shall be sweet.

hand to do [it].

rather than silver and gold.

from it.

drive it far from him.

he shall not die.

(Pro 23:14) Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

(Pro 30:8) Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me
with food convenient for me:

and steal, and take the name of my God [in vain].

knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from [among] men.

(Pro 30:15) The horseleach hath two daughters, [crying], Give, give. There are three [things
that] are never satisfied, [yea], four [things] say not, [It is] enough:

(Pro 31:2) What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?

(Pro 31:3) Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.

(Pro 31:4) [It is] not for kings, O Lemuel, [it is] not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes
strong drink:

(Pro 31:8) Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to
destruction.

(Pro 31:9) Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

(Pro 31:10) Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies.

(Pro 31:11) The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need
of spoil.

(Pro 31:12) She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

(Pro 31:26) She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue [is] the law of
kindness.

(Pro 31:27) She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of
idleness.

(Pro 31:28) Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth
her.

(Pro 31:30) Favour [is] deceitful, and beauty [is] vain: [but] a woman [that] feareth the
LORD, she shall be praised.

(Ecc 3:1) To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

(Ecc 3:2) A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up [that
which is] planted;

(Ecc 3:3) A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

(Ecc 3:4) A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

(Ecc 3:5) A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to
embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

(Ecc 3:6) A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

(Ecc 3:7) A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

(Ecc 3:8) A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
(Ecc 3:11) He hath made every [thing] beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in
their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the
end.

(Ecc 3:13) And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his
labour, it [is] the gift of God.

(Ecc 3:14) I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it,
nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth [it], that [men] should fear before him.

(Ecc 5:4) When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for [he hath] no pleasure
in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.

(Ecc 10:1) Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour:
[so doth] a little folly him that is in reputation for wisdom [and] honour.

(Ecc 11:1) Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.

(Ecc 11:9) Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy
youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou,
that for all these [things] God will bring thee into judgment.

(Ecc 12:1) Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come
not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

(Ecc 12:12) And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books [there is]
no end; and much study [is] a weariness of the flesh.

(Ecc 12:13) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his
commandments: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man.

(Ecc 12:14) For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether
[it be] good, or whether [it be] evil.

(Isa 1:18) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as
scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as
wool.

(Isa 1:19) If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

(Isa 1:20) But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of
the LORD hath spoken [it].

(Isa 9:6) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be
upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
(Isa 9:7) Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the
throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and
with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

(Isa 40:22) [It is] he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof
[are] as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out
as a tent to dwell in:

(Isa 40:25) To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.

(Isa 40:28) Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, [that] the everlasting God, the
LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? [there is] no
searching of his understanding.

(Isa 40:29) He giveth power to the faint; and to [them that have] no might he increaseth
strength.

(Isa 40:30) Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

(Isa 40:31) But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount
up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not
faint.

(Isa 43:1) But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee,
O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art]
mine.

(Isa 43:2) When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the
rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be
burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

(Isa 43:7) [Even] every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I
have formed him; yea, I have made him.

(Isa 43:10) Ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen:
that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no
God formed, neither shall there be after me.

(Isa 43:11) I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no saviour.

(Isa 43:18) Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

(Isa 43:19) Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I
will even make a way in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert.

(Isa 53:1) Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
(Isa 53:2) For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry
ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, [there is] no beauty
that we should desire him.

(Isa 53:3) He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were [our] faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

(Isa 53:4) Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him
stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

(Isa 53:5) But he [was] wounded for our transgressions, [he was] bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace [was] upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

(Isa 53:6) All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and
the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

(Isa 53:7) He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is
brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he
openeth not his mouth.

(Isa 53:8) He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his
generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my
people was he stricken.

(Isa 53:9) And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because
he had done no violence, neither [was any] deceit in his mouth.

(Isa 53:10) Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou
shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days,
and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

(Isa 53:11) He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge
shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

(Isa 53:12) Therefore will I divide him [a portion] with the great, and he shall divide the
spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered
with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the
transgressors.

(Isa 54:1) Sing, O barren, thou [that] didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud,
thou [that] didst not travail with child: for more [are] the children of the desolate than the
children of the married wife, saith the LORD.

(Isa 54:4) Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou
shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not
remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.

(Isa 54:5) For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy
Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
(Isa 54:7) For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather
thee.

(Isa 54:8) In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting
kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

(Isa 54:9) For this [is as] the waters of Noah unto me: for [as] I have sworn that the waters
of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with
thee, nor rebuke thee.

(Isa 54:10) For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall
not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD
that hath mercy on thee.

(Isa 54:11) O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, [and] not comforted, behold, I will lay thy
stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.

(Isa 54:13) And all thy children [shall be] taught of the LORD; and great [shall be] the peace
of thy children.

(Isa 54:14) In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression;
for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

(Isa 54:15) Behold, they shall surely gather together, [but] not by me: whosoever shall
gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

(Isa 54:16) Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that
bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

(Isa 54:17) No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue [that]
shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This [is] the heritage of the servants
of the LORD, and their righteousness [is] of me, saith the LORD.

(Isa 55:1) Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money;
come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

(Isa 55:2) Wherefore do ye spend money for [that which is] not bread? and your labour for
[that which] satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye [that which is] good, and
let your soul delight itself in fatness.

(Isa 55:3) Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will
make an everlasting covenant with you, [even] the sure mercies of David.

(Isa 55:5) Behold, thou shalt call a nation [that] thou knowest not, and nations [that] knew
not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel;
for he hath glorified thee.

(Isa 55:6) Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
(Isa 55:7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let
him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will
abundantly pardon.

(Isa 55:8) For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith
the LORD.

(Isa 55:9) For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your
ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

(Isa 55:10) For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not
thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to
the sower, and bread to the eater:

(Isa 55:11) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto
me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing]
whereto I sent it.

(Isa 55:12) For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the
hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap [their]
hands.

(Isa 55:13) Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall
come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign
[that] shall not be cut off.

(Isa 59:1) Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear
heavy, that it cannot hear:

(Isa 59:2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have
hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.

(Isa 59:3) For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips
have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

(Isa 59:4) None calleth for justice, nor [any] pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and
speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

(Isa 59:7) Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts
[are] thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction [are] in their paths.

(Isa 59:8) The way of peace they know not; and [there is] no judgment in their goings: they
have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

(Isa 59:16) And he saw that [there was] no man, and wondered that [there was] no
intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it
sustained him.
(Isa 59:17) For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon
his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance [for] clothing, and was clad with zeal as a
cloke.

(Isa 59:18) According to [their] deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries,
recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.

(Isa 59:21) As for me, this [is] my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that [is]
upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth,
nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD,
from henceforth and for ever.

(Isa 60:1) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

(Isa 61:1) The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to
preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to
proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound;

(Isa 61:2) To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our
God; to comfort all that mourn;

(Isa 61:3) To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the
oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be
called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

(Isa 61:4) And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations,
and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

(Isa 61:7) For your shame [ye shall have] double; and [for] confusion they shall rejoice in
their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be
unto them.

(Isa 61:10) I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath
clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of
righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh [himself] with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth
[herself] with her jewels.

(Isa 61:11) For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that
are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring
forth before all the nations.

(Isa 62:1) For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest,
until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp
[that] burneth.

(Isa 62:2) And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou
shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
(Isa 62:3) Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem
in the hand of thy God.

(Isa 62:4) Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be
termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD
delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

(Isa 64:4) For since the beginning of the world [men] have not heard, nor perceived by the
ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, [what] he hath prepared for him that
waiteth for him.

(Isa 64:6) But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy
rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

(Isa 64:7) And [there is] none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take
hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our
iniquities.

(Isa 64:8) But now, O LORD, thou [art] our father; we [are] the clay, and thou our potter;
and we all [are] the work of thy hand.

(Isa 65:1) I am sought of [them that] asked not [for me]; I am found of [them that] sought
me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation [that] was not called by my name.

(Isa 65:2) I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in
a way [that was] not good, after their own thoughts;

(Isa 65:5) Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou.
These [are] a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

(Isa 65:16) That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth;
and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former
troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

(Isa 65:17) For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be
remembered, nor come into mind.

(Isa 65:18) But be ye glad and rejoice for ever [in that] which I create: for, behold, I create
Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

(Isa 65:19) And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping
shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

(Isa 65:20) There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not
filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner [being] an
hundred years old shall be accursed.

(Isa 65:21) And they shall build houses, and inhabit [them]; and they shall plant vineyards,
and eat the fruit of them.
(Isa 65:22) They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat:
for as the days of a tree [are] the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work
of their hands.

(Isa 65:23) They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they [are] the seed
of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.

(Isa 65:24) And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are
yet speaking, I will hear.

(Isa 65:25) The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the
bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy
mountain, saith the LORD.

(Isa 66:15) For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a
whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

(Isa 66:16) For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of
the LORD shall be many.

me?

knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast
forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

(Joe 2:25) And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm,
and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

(Joe 2:26) And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD
your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

(Joe 2:27) And ye shall know that I [am] in the midst of Israel, and [that] I [am] the LORD
your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
(Joe 2:28) And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all
flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams,
your young men shall see visions:

(Joe 2:29) And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour
out my spirit.

(Joe 2:30) And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and
pillars of smoke.

(Joe 2:32) And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD
shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD
hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

(Oba 1:17) But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the
house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.

mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies [are] the men of his own
house.

God will hear me.

God.

(Joh 1:2) The same was in the beginning with God.

made.

(Joh 1:10) He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him
not.

(Joh 1:11) He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

(Joh 1:12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
[even] to them that believe on his name:

(Joh 1:13) Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,
but of God.
(Joh 1:14) And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the
glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall
see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

and fire, and vapour of smoke:

great and notable day of the Lord come:

(Act 2:21) And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord
shall be saved.

(Act 5:41) And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were
counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

(Rom 1:16) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

(Rom 1:17) For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is
written, The just shall live by faith.

(Rom 1:20) For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen,
being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so
that they are without excuse:

(Rom 2:1) Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for
wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the
same things.

(Rom 2:4) Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering;
not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

(Rom 2:15) Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also
bearing witness, and [their] thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one
another;)
(Rom 3:4) God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou
mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

(Rom 3:10) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

(Rom 3:11) There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

(Rom 3:12) They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is
none that doeth good, no, not one.

(Rom 3:14) Whose mouth [is] full of cursing and bitterness:

(Rom 3:16) Destruction and misery [are] in their ways:

(Rom 3:17) And the way of peace have they not known:

(Rom 3:18) There is no fear of God before their eyes.

(Rom 3:21) But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being
witnessed by the law and the prophets;

(Rom 3:22) Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and
upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

(Rom 3:31) Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the
law.

(Rom 4:3) For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto
him for righteousness.

(Rom 4:5) But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his
faith is counted for righteousness.

(Rom 4:6) Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God
imputeth righteousness without works,

(Rom 4:7) [Saying], Blessed [are] they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are
covered.

(Rom 4:8) Blessed [is] the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

(Rom 4:13) For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, [was] not to Abraham,
or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

(Rom 4:16) Therefore [it is] of faith, that [it might be] by grace; to the end the promise
might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of
the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,
(Rom 4:17) (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom
he believed, [even] God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as
though they were.

(Rom 4:18) Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many
nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.

(Rom 4:19) And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when
he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:

(Rom 4:20) He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in
faith, giving glory to God;

(Rom 4:21) And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to
perform.

(Rom 4:22) And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

(Rom 4:24) But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up
Jesus our Lord from the dead;

(Rom 4:25) Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

(Rom 5:3) And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation
worketh patience;

(Rom 5:4) And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

(Rom 5:5) And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our
hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

(Rom 5:6) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

(Rom 5:7) For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man
some would even dare to die.

(Rom 5:8) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.

(Rom 6:2) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

(Rom 6:4) Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was
raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness
of life.

(Rom 6:6) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might
be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
(Rom 6:12) Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the
lusts thereof.

(Rom 6:14) For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but
under grace.

(Rom 6:16) Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye
are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

(Rom 6:18) Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

(Rom 6:22) But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your
fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

(Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus
Christ our Lord.

(Rom 7:12) Wherefore the law [is] holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

(Rom 7:14) For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

(Rom 7:15) For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate,
that do I.

(Rom 7:17) Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

(Rom 7:18) For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is
present with me; but [how] to perform that which is good I find not.

(Rom 7:22) For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

(Rom 8:1) [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

(Rom 8:4) That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the
flesh, but after the Spirit.

(Rom 8:5) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are
after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

(Rom 8:6) For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and
peace.

(Rom 8:7) Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law
of God, neither indeed can be.

(Rom 8:14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
(Rom 8:15) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have
received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

(Rom 8:16) The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

(Rom 8:17) And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be
that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together.

(Rom 8:18) For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be
compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

(Rom 8:26) Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we
should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings
which cannot be uttered.

(Rom 8:28) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to
them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

(Rom 8:30) Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called,
them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

(Rom 8:31) What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against
us?

(Rom 8:35) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

(Rom 8:38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

(Rom 8:39) Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from
the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(Rom 9:5) Whose [are] the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ [came], who
is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

(Rom 9:15) For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will
have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

(Rom 9:16) So then [it is] not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that
sheweth mercy.

(Rom 9:18) Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will [have mercy], and whom he will he
hardeneth.

(Rom 9:19) Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted
his will?
(Rom 9:20) Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed
say to him that formed [it], Why hast thou made me thus?

(Rom 9:21) Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel
unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

(Rom 9:22) [What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known,
endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:

(Rom 9:23) And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy,
which he had afore prepared unto glory,

(Rom 9:25) As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people;
and her beloved, which was not beloved.

(Rom 9:26) And it shall come to pass, [that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye
[are] not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

(Rom 9:30) What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after
righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

(Rom 9:31) But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to
the law of righteousness.

(Rom 9:32) Wherefore? Because [they sought it] not by faith, but as it were by the works of
the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

(Rom 9:33) As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and
whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

(Rom 10:8) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, [even] in thy mouth, and in thy heart:
that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

(Rom 10:9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

(Rom 10:10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.

(Rom 10:11) For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

(Rom 10:13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

(Rom 10:14) How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how
shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a
preacher?

(Rom 10:15) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful
are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
(Rom 10:17) So then faith [cometh] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

(Rom 10:20) But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I
was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

(Rom 10:21) But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a
disobedient and gainsaying people.

(Rom 11:20) Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be
not highminded, but fear:

(Rom 11:29) For the gifts and calling of God [are] without repentance.

(Rom 12:1) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your
bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service.

(Rom 12:2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of
your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

(Rom 12:3) For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not
to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as
God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

(Rom 12:4) For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same
office:

(Rom 12:5) So we, [being] many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of
another.

(Rom 12:6) Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether
prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of faith;

(Rom 12:7) Or ministry, [let us wait] on [our] ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

(Rom 12:8) Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, [let him do it] with
simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

(Rom 12:9) [Let] love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that
which is good.

(Rom 12:10) [Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour
preferring one another;

(Rom 12:11) Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

(Rom 12:12) Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

(Rom 12:13) Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

(Rom 12:14) Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

(Rom 12:15) Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

(Rom 12:16) [Be] of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but
condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

(Rom 12:17) Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all
men.

(Rom 12:18) If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

(Rom 12:19) Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but [rather] give place unto wrath: for
it is written, Vengeance [is] mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

(Rom 12:20) Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in
so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

(Rom 12:21) Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

(1Co 1:18) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us
which are saved it is the power of God.

(1Co 1:19) For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing
the understanding of the prudent.

(1Co 1:20) Where [is] the wise? where [is] the scribe? where [is] the disputer of this world?
hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

(1Co 1:21) For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it
pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

(1Co 1:23) But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the
Greeks foolishness;

(1Co 1:24) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God,
and the wisdom of God.

(1Co 1:25) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is
stronger than men.

(1Co 1:26) For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not
many mighty, not many noble, [are called]:

(1Co 1:27) But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and
God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
(1Co 1:28) And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen,
[yea], and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

(1Co 1:29) That no flesh should glory in his presence.

(1Co 10:13) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God
[is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the
temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

(1Co 13:1) Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am
become [as] sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

(1Co 13:2) And though I have [the gift of] prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all
knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not
charity, I am nothing.

(1Co 13:3) And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor], and though I give my body
to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

(1Co 13:4) Charity suffereth long, [and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not
itself, is not puffed up,

(1Co 13:5) Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked,
thinketh no evil;

(1Co 13:6) Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

(1Co 13:7) Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

(1Co 13:8) Charity never faileth: but whether [there be] prophecies, they shall fail; whether
[there be] tongues, they shall cease; whether [there be] knowledge, it shall vanish away.

(1Co 13:9) For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

(1Co 13:10) But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done
away.

(1Co 13:11) When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a
child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

(1Co 13:12) For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in
part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

(1Co 13:13) And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these [is]
charity.

(Gal 5:1) Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not
entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
(Gal 5:16) [This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

(Gal 5:17) For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these
are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

(Gal 5:18) But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

(Gal 5:19) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication,
uncleanness, lasciviousness,

(Gal 5:20) Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions,
heresies,

(Gal 5:21) Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you
before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit
the kingdom of God.

(Gal 5:22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,
faith,

(Gal 5:23) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

(Gal 5:24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

(Gal 5:25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

(Gal 5:26) Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

(Eph 3:20) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or
think, according to the power that worketh in us,

(Eph 4:22) That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is
corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;

(Eph 4:23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;

(Eph 4:24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness
and true holiness.

(Eph 4:25) Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we
are members one of another.

(Eph 4:26) Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

(Eph 4:27) Neither give place to the devil.

(Eph 4:28) Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his]
hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
(Eph 4:29) Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is
good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

(Eph 4:31) Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put
away from you, with all malice:

(Eph 4:32) And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as
God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

(Eph 5:1) Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

(Eph 5:2) And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an
offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

(Eph 5:3) But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named
among you, as becometh saints;

(Eph 5:4) Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but
rather giving of thanks.

(Eph 5:5) For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man,
who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

(Eph 5:6) Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the
wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

(Eph 5:8) For ye were sometimes darkness, but now [are ye] light in the Lord: walk as
children of light:

(Eph 5:9) (For the fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

(Eph 5:10) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

(Eph 5:11) And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove
[them].

(Eph 5:12) For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

(Eph 5:13) But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever
doth make manifest is light.

(Eph 5:14) Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and
Christ shall give thee light.

(Eph 5:15) See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

(Eph 5:16) Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

(Eph 5:17) Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord [is].
(Eph 5:18) And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

(Eph 5:19) Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and
making melody in your heart to the Lord;

(Eph 5:20) Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ;

(Eph 5:21) Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

(Eph 6:10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

(Eph 6:11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of
the devil.

(Eph 6:12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against
powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high
[places].

(Eph 6:13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

(Eph 6:14) Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the
breastplate of righteousness;

(Eph 6:15) And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

(Eph 6:16) Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the
fiery darts of the wicked.

(Eph 6:17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word
of God:

(Eph 6:18) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching
thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

(Php 1:29) For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but
also to suffer for his sake;

(Php 2:2) Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, [being] of one
accord, of one mind.

(Php 2:3) [Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let
each esteem other better than themselves.

(Php 2:4) Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

(Php 2:5) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
(Php 2:6) Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

(Php 2:7) But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and
was made in the likeness of men:

(Php 2:8) And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient
unto death, even the death of the cross.

(Php 2:9) Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is
above every name:

(Php 2:10) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and
[things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;

(Php 2:11) And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of
God the Father.

(Php 3:10) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of
his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

(Php 3:12) Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow
after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

(Php 3:13) Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do],
forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are
before,

(Php 3:14) I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

(Php 4:4) Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice.

(Php 4:5) Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord [is] at hand.

(Php 4:6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

(Php 4:7) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts
and minds through Christ Jesus.

(Php 4:8) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest,
whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely,
whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise,
think on these things.

(Php 4:9) Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in
me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
(Php 4:11) Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am,
[therewith] to be content.

(Php 4:12) I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all
things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

(Php 4:13) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

(Php 4:19) But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ
Jesus.

(Col 3:2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

(Col 3:4) When Christ, [who is] our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in
glory.

(Col 3:5) Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication,
uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

(Col 3:7) In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

(Col 3:8) But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy
communication out of your mouth.

(Col 3:9) Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

(Col 3:10) And have put on the new [man], which is renewed in knowledge after the image
of him that created him:

(Col 3:12) Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies,
kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

(Col 3:13) Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel
against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye.

(Col 3:14) And above all these things [put on] charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

(Col 3:16) Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and
admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in
your hearts to the Lord.

(Col 3:17) And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

(2Ti 1:8) Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his
prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
(2Ti 1:12) For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for
I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have
committed unto him against that day.

(2Ti 2:3) Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

(2Ti 2:11) [It is] a faithful saying: For if we be dead with [him], we shall also live with [him]:

(2Ti 2:12) If we suffer, we shall also reign with [him]: if we deny [him], he also will deny us:

(2Ti 2:13) If we believe not, [yet] he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

(2Ti 2:15) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be
ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

(2Ti 2:16) But shun profane [and] vain babblings: for they will increase unto more
ungodliness.

(2Ti 2:19) Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord
knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from
iniquity.

(2Ti 2:20) But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of
wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

(2Ti 2:21) If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour,
sanctified, and meet for the master's use, [and] prepared unto every good work.

(2Ti 2:22) Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them
that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

(2Ti 2:23) But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

(2Ti 2:24) And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men], apt to
teach, patient,

(2Ti 2:25) In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will
give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

(2Ti 2:26) And [that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are
taken captive by him at his will.

(2Ti 3:1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

(2Ti 3:2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

(2Ti 3:3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce,
despisers of those that are good,
(2Ti 3:4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

(2Ti 3:5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

(2Ti 3:6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women
laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,

(2Ti 3:7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

(2Ti 3:8) Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth:
men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

(2Ti 3:9) But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all [men],
as theirs also was.

(2Ti 3:12) Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

(2Ti 3:13) But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being
deceived.

(2Ti 3:14) But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured
of, knowing of whom thou hast learned [them];

(2Ti 3:15) And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to
make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

(2Ti 3:16) All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

(2Ti 3:17) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

(2Ti 4:5) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make
full proof of thy ministry.

(Heb 4:12) For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged
sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and
marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

(Heb 4:14) Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens,
Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast [our] profession.

(Heb 4:15) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.

(Heb 4:16) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain
mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
(Heb 12:1) Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset [us], and let
us run with patience the race that is set before us,

(Heb 12:2) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of [our] faith; who for the joy that
was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right
hand of the throne of God.

(Heb 12:3) For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself,
lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

(Heb 12:4) Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

(Heb 12:5) And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto
children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art
rebuked of him:

(Heb 12:6) For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he
receiveth.

(Heb 12:7) If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he
whom the father chasteneth not?

(Heb 12:8) But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye
bastards, and not sons.

(Heb 12:9) Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected [us], and we gave
[them] reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and
live?

(Heb 12:10) For they verily for a few days chastened [us] after their own pleasure; but he for
[our] profit, that [we] might be partakers of his holiness.

(Heb 12:11) Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:
nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are
exercised thereby.

(Heb 12:12) Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

(Heb 12:13) And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of
the way; but let it rather be healed.

(Heb 12:14) Follow peace with all [men], and holiness, without which no man shall see the
Lord:

(Heb 12:15) Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of
bitterness springing up trouble [you], and thereby many be defiled;
(Heb 12:16) Lest there [be] any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel
of meat sold his birthright.

(Heb 12:17) For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he
was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

(Heb 12:18) For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned
with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

(Heb 12:19) And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which [voice] they that
heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:

(Heb 12:20) (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a
beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

(Heb 12:21) And so terrible was the sight, [that] Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

(Heb 12:22) But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the
heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

(Heb 12:23) To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in
heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

(Heb 12:24) And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling,
that speaketh better things than [that of] Abel.

(Heb 12:28) Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace,
whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

(Heb 12:29) For our God [is] a consuming fire.

(Heb 13:1) Let brotherly love continue.

(Heb 13:2) Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels
unawares.

(Heb 13:3) Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; [and] them which
suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

(Heb 13:4) Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and
adulterers God will judge.

(Heb 13:5) [Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such
things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

(Heb 13:6) So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man
shall do unto me.

(Heb 13:8) Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
(Heb 13:16) But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is
well pleased.

(Jas 1:2) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

(Jas 1:3) Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

(Jas 1:4) But let patience have [her] perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing.

(Jas 1:5) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and
upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

(Jas 1:6) But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of
the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

(Jas 1:7) For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

(Jas 1:8) A double minded man [is] unstable in all his ways.

(Jas 1:9) Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

(Jas 1:10) But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall
pass away.

(Jas 1:12) Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall
receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

(Jas 1:13) Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be
tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

(Jas 1:14) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

(Jas 1:15) Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished,
bringeth forth death.

(Jas 1:16) Do not err, my beloved brethren.

(Jas 1:17) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the
Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

(Jas 1:18) Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of
firstfruits of his creatures.

(Jas 1:19) Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak,
slow to wrath:

(Jas 1:20) For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
(Jas 1:21) Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with
meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

(Jas 1:22) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

(Jas 1:25) But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth [therein], he
being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

(Jas 1:26) If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but
deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion [is] vain.

(Jas 1:27) Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the
fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep himself unspotted from the world.

(Jas 5:1) Go to now, [ye] rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon
[you].

(Jas 5:2) Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.

(Jas 5:3) Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against
you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last
days.

(Jas 5:4) Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of
you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the
ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

(Jas 5:8) Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

(Jas 5:9) Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the
judge standeth before the door.

(Jas 5:11) Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job,
and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

(Jas 5:12) But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the
earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and [your] nay, nay; lest ye fall into
condemnation.

(Jas 5:13) Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

(Jas 5:14) Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray
over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

(Jas 5:15) And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if
he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
(Jas 5:16) Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be
healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

(Jas 5:17) Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it
might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

(Jas 5:18) And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her
fruit.

(Jas 5:19) Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

(Jas 5:20) Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall
save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

(1Pe 2:1) Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and
all evil speakings,

(1Pe 2:2) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

(1Pe 2:3) If so be ye have tasted that the Lord [is] gracious.

(1Pe 2:9) But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar
people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness
into his marvellous light:

(1Pe 2:10) Which in time past [were] not a people, but [are] now the people of God: which
had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

(1Pe 2:11) Dearly beloved, I beseech [you] as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly
lusts, which war against the soul;

(1Pe 2:12) Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak
against you as evildoers, they may by [your] good works, which they shall behold, glorify
God in the day of visitation.

(1Pe 3:14) But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy [are ye]: and be not afraid of
their terror, neither be troubled;

(1Pe 3:17) For [it is] better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil
doing.

(1Pe 4:13) But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his
glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

(1Pe 4:16) Yet if [any man suffer] as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify
God on this behalf.
(Rev 1:5) And from Jesus Christ, [who is] the faithful witness, [and] the first begotten of the
dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from
our sins in his own blood,

(Rev 1:6) And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory
and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

(Rev 1:7) Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they [also] which
pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

(Rev 1:8) I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is,
and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

(Rev 1:14) His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes
[were] as a flame of fire;

(Rev 1:15) And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as
the sound of many waters.

(Rev 1:16) And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp
twoedged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength.

(Rev 1:17) And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon
me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

(Rev 1:18) I [am] he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;
and have the keys of hell and of death.

(Rev 2:10) Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast
[some] of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be
thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

(Rev 4:1) After this I looked, and, behold, a door [was] opened in heaven: and the first voice
which I heard [was] as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither,
and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

(Rev 4:2) And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and
[one] sat on the throne.

(Rev 4:3) And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and [there
was] a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

(Rev 4:4) And round about the throne [were] four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I
saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads
crowns of gold.

(Rev 4:5) And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and
[there were] seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of
God.
(Rev 4:6) And before the throne [there was] a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst
of the throne, and round about the throne, [were] four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

(Rev 4:7) And the first beast [was] like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third
beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast [was] like a flying eagle.

(Rev 4:8) And the four beasts had each of them six wings about [him]; and [they were] full
of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,
which was, and is, and is to come.

(Rev 4:9) And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the
throne, who liveth for ever and ever,

(Rev 4:10) The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and
worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

(Rev 4:11) Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast
created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

(Rev 5:1) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within
and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

(Rev 5:2) And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open
the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

(Rev 5:3) And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the
book, neither to look thereon.

(Rev 5:4) And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the
book, neither to look thereon.

(Rev 5:5) And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of
Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals
thereof.

(Rev 5:6) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the
midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes,
which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

(Rev 5:7) And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the
throne.

(Rev 5:8) And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four [and] twenty elders fell
down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours,
which are the prayers of saints.
(Rev 5:9) And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open
the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every
kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

(Rev 5:10) And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the
earth.

(Rev 5:11) And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and
the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand,
and thousands of thousands;

(Rev 5:12) Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power,
and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

(Rev 5:13) And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth,
and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour,
and glory, and power, [be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for
ever and ever.

(Rev 5:14) And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four [and] twenty elders fell down and
worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
