Objective
Seeking a position as a process technician in the chemical / petrochemical fiel
d. I am interested in the specific area of process development and production of
products associated with automotive, commercial, and residential applications a
s well as alternative fuels.

Qualifications
I have a background in the chemical field to include the development and produc
tion of coatings and resins for automotive, industrial and residential applicati
ons.
The process involved operations of chemical pressure reactors which included the
functioning application of a computer programmed process. The process involved
the heating and feeding of catalysts and monomers into a tempered solvent base w
hich then created the molecular chain to complete the formula. In process analys
is included analytical sampling for viscosities, acid and Ph testing along with
% of total solids. The manual weighing of chemical compounds both liquid and dry
to specific batch instructions. Use of forklift operations along with personal
protective equipment paramount to specific chemical compounds.
Currently employed as an operations technician in the field of alternat
ive fuels, specifically biodiesel and catalyst conversion. Within this field my
core of responsibility is in the training of employees for the operations of the
equipment that we build to produce biodiesel. I am also the safety coordinator
which in this role I oversee all safety aspects to process development, employee
training, and writing safety policies in accordance with Federal, State and OSH
A guidelines.
I posses a strong mechanical background and the incorporation of design
flow through process piping, pumps, valves etc...

Oversea the process development in coordination with Development Engineers,
to incorporate all safety aspects to development design and concept.
The training of third party personnel in regards to the operation of CTI BioChem
icals manufactured equipment for biodiesel production.
The written and implementation of company policies in regards to the workplace e
nvironment concerning environmental and health and safety.
Safety revues and job hazard analysis for existing and new functional processes.

sure material quality. Material handling of chemical compounds both liquid and d
ry utilizing fork lift trucks, batch buggies and drum jacks. In process troubles
hooting of batch processes and ability to correct performance upsets to ensure p
roduct quality and equipment efficiency.
General maintenance included the repair of process pumps, valves and piping.
Industrial plant protection included industrial firefighting and hazardous mate
rial response, spill containment, decontamination and equipment restoration.
Member of the Waste Minimization Task Force which included the utilization and
processes to reduce, reclaim and recycle solvents, distillate and water from bat
ch manufacturing. Worked closely with Chemical Engineers to provide a clear unde
rstanding of the equipment and material processing parameters to provide effecti
ve and efficient use of equipment and time.

U.S. Coast Guard
Machinery Technician Third Class. Training included; Machinery Technician Schoo
l, Maritime Law Enforcement School, Outboard Motor Maintenance School and Firefi
ghting School.
Duties included; preventive maintenance of diesel and gasoline internal combust
ion engines, generators, shipboard reduction gears, desalination units, heat exc
hangers and oily water separators. Aircraft firefighting and rescue, residential
firefighting and rescue, shipboard firefighting and rescue. Environmental contr
ol and hazardous material response in regards to marine mishaps by accidental or
weather related incidents.

p Hose Co. #3 for the past twenty years. I have had the privilege to serve as Fi
re Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, Captain, Safety Officer, and Chaplain. I am curr
ently serving as Trustee. I have obtained a multitude of training certificates t
o include national, state and local certificates.
