Led and oversaw wholly owned subsidiary, BuildPartners general contracting servi
ces branch. Managed team of construction project managers and field superintende
nts assigned to client projects. Managed P&L, recruiting/hiring, customer satisf
action, project status and delivery. Reviewed and revised project estimates, dev
eloped designs and construction drawings and oversaw final product. Developed an
d implemented strategic business plans and objectives to meet corporate goals. B
uilt client relationships and identified/pursued new business opportunities. Dir
ected and ensured quality control. Completed projects throughout major metropoli
tan areas in US and Caribbean.
Major Projects
* Ingersoll-Rand - Renovated 165,000 SF heavy industrial manufacturing space int
o Class A office space, fitness center and new machine tool area - $22M budget,
40 weeks.
* Teradyne Connection Systems - Managed renovation and fit-out of 130,000 SF hig
h-tech manufacturing facility. Included mechanical renovation of 130 ton chiller
, addition of 220 tons of new RTU cooling systems, Class A office space and ware
house area - $17M budget, 21 weeks.
* Northfield Savings Bank - Completed ground up construction of 5 commercial bui
ldings in Burlington Vermont - $1.3-2.2M, 13-18 weeks, respectively.
* Valley National Bank - Directed 3 open renovations to allow client to continue
operations. Completed interior renovation, millwork, furnishings, industry spec
ific equipment and signage in Manhattan - $1.3-1.8M each, all completed over tot
al 20 weeks.
* Jamaica National Building Society - Advised, coordinated and managed design st
rategy overhaul, construction management and millwork/furnishing delivery - $1.8
M each, 16 weeks.
Profit Growth Initiatives
* Spearheaded subsidiary from concept to profitable enterprise with 40% annual r
evenue growth and 17% profit margin.
* Managed entire project lifecycle for construction of 18 new buildings over 36
months in Atlanta, Georgia that generated $27M profit through client roll-out.
Efficiency Improvements
* Identified, presented and implemented Prolog project management software that
facilitated improved project efficiency.
* Defined and executed training and education for project managers and developed
employee career path programs to improve employee satisfaction and performance.
