Summary
Fifteen years of aviation leadership relative to parts procurement, expediting &
materials management.
I excel in procurement negotiations as well as expediting unsatisfactory lead-ti
mes. I am highly respected by colleagues as a team-playing, goal-directed, deta
il-conscious, organized self-motivator with articulate communication, written an
d time management skills. I consistently uphold a professional attitude and app
earance while maintaining professional affiliations.
Productivity Improvements:
Negotiated and documented parts and services savings in excess of $139,000 every
six months on average. I reduce departmental expenses by 20% on average, re-as
signing personnel where necessary & increasing team efficiency.
Created and maintained an Excel Parts Status Report at each assignment to track
the real-time status of general parts, both procured & repaired parts out for se
rvice. This report is continually updated and e-mailed to team department heads
for more efficient planning and flawless communication. It is still in use at
each company.
Focused precipitously on daily received parts destined for maintenance personnel
& brought product into service earlier, each production day. This significantl
y reduced billable hours and improved team morale. These reduced billable hours
translate to quicker turn-times, increased productivity, department profitabil
ity and the on-time delivery of aircraft.
Supervisory Leadership:
Materials Manager & Senior Buyer procuring and maintaining over $1,500,000 in ai
rframe and rotable inventories as well as overseeing efficient shipping & receiv
ing. Strict attention to detail and time saving procedures along the entire su
pply chain.
Ensure that all research performed complies with applicable technical data, FAA
regulations, safety programs and company policies & procedures.
Review documents with maintenance personnel to identify methods of repair or rep
lacement and identify necessary parts, materials and tooling requirements for pl
anning.
Order and process material requests for all aircraft in maintenance. Ensure ite

briefings.
Coordinate employee activities for maximum utilization of manpower, enforce comp
