$558 million vertical apparel manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer.
Warehouse Manager (Jan. 2009 - Present) - Promoted to establish first warehouse
management role to bring structure, process, and accountability to a 200,000 sq.
ft. warehouse and 40 staff that were operating without leadership and inefficie
ntly.
* Receiving, Fabric Warehouse - Manage, mentor, and motivate supervisory and ho
urly personnel to ensure optimal productivity and movement of goods to fulfill m
anufacturing requirements, ensuring that fabric is delivered to cutting and prod
uction on schedule.
* Collaborate with outside vendors and in-house knitting/dyeing facilities to
improve scheduling and receipt of high turn-over inventory.
* Oversee and troubleshoot inventory system, correcting errors that may arise
due to inaccurate packing slips, purchase orders, and/or complex issues related
to inventory; oversee data input team.
* Monitor quality control to ensure that all fabric delivered to the cutting d
epartment meets company standards and mitigates production and delivery risks.
* Inventory Management - Ensure consistent and timely flow of fabric to support
and optimize the supply chain; effectively liaise with suppliers to reduce bott
lenecks and create timely product flow.
* Communicate with product development, production planning, and cutting to fu
lfill back orders, produce new styles, and maintain steady work flow; track good
s from receipt to manufacturing.
* Generate weekly inventory reports and coordinate with planning to ensure tha
t in-demand fabric is being delivered in a timely manner and that aged fabric is
consumed to eliminate dead stock.
* Coordinate and conduct quarterly physical inventory of entire $15 million do
llar fabric inventory; initiated a critical Team-based inventory management prog
ram that decreased overall variances of inventory from 4% to below 1% in two suc
cessive quarters.
* Worked closely with IT to implement new systems that provide accountability,
inventory flow, and effective allocation.
Production Manager (Aug. 2008 - Jan. 2009) - Selected by the COO to lead and di
rect the set-up of a new 300,000 sq. ft., 700 employee manufacturing facility to
produce, cut and sew denim bottoms, and knit tops.
* Production Management - Set up team-based manufacturing in sewing and cutting
departments, utilizing the corporate manufacturing model to ensure maximum outp
ut.
* Projected requirements and created efficient work flow; communicated effecti
vely with dye and knit facilities to maintain the supply chain and ensure consis
tent production flow; scheduled and coordinated fabric deliveries.

* Accounting/Inventory - Ensured that all purchase orders and production orders
were invoiced correctly to analyze facility profitability and maximize cash flo
w. Coordinated quarterly physical inventory for entire facility to ensure perpet
ual inventory was consistent with physical inventory.
* Staffing - Worked alongside HR to create recruitment strategy, including medi
a ad campaigns, for production personnel (sewing, dyeing, finishing, QC, fabric,
custodial, data entry and supervisory positions).

* Worked closely with supervisors in 2000-person sewing department to identify
inefficiencies and create a more consistent flow of product in order to increas
e output, reduce per piece costs, and increase team member earnings.
* Retail Store Analysis - Performed comprehensive profitability and operationa

tify areas in need of remediation and recommend appropriate steps.
