Dear Hiring Executive:
Please find enclosed my resume. My extensive background in commercial
property management and real estate is complemented by proven
strengths in financial planning and investment banking. Moreover, I
hold an M.B.A. with a major concentration in Real Estate and
Construction Management and a Virginia Real Estate Broker's License.
Also, I hold the designations of Certified Commercial Investment
Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM).
For the past three years, I have performed over 60 commercial real
estate appraisals for my clients. These appraisals were mostly income
producing properties; the remainder were appraisals of raw commercial
land. In my previous position, I oversaw all aspects of operations for
a commercial property management firm. My duties included providing
real estate financial analysis, transaction analysis, and valuation
knowledge; mitigating and managing risk; and identifying opportunities
for adding value through the lease management and review process. I
also conducted assessments and individual analyses of capital to be
invested as well as negotiate leases, letters of intent and other
documents necessary to realize new value. Additionally, over the
course of my career, I conducted asset/property management, leasing,
and brokerage functions for family general and limited partnerships;
secured equity for real estate limited partnerships from accredited
investors; and executed property/asset management functions for local,
national, and international owners.
Upon your review of my resume, please contact me so we may discuss
your specific needs and my credentials and capabilities in further
detail. I look forward to your positive reply and thank you for your
consideration.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey A. Barr, CCIM, CPM, MBA
