SCOPE OF WORK:

IRON ORE SAMPLE COLLECTION, PROCESSING FOR PHYSICAL TESTS AND PREPARATION OF SAMPLE FOR CHEMICAL ANALYSIS AS PER
B.I.S / I.S STANDARDS FOR PRODUCTIONS SAMPLE AT SCREENING PLANT AND RAKE DESPATCHES SAMPLES AT LOADING PLANT AND PROCESSING
OF OTHER SAMPLES FROM CRUSHING PLANT AND MINES OF DEP-10&11A, BACHELI. FOR THE PERIOD FROM 01.06.2011 to 31.05.2012

Iron Ore sample collection, processing for physical tests
and preparation of sample for chemical analysis as per
B.I.S / I.S. Standard for production at Screening Plant &
Rake Despatch samples at Loading Plant of Dep-10&11A.

01. A. Screening Plant production sample. ROM con-1031 samples 360 DAYS.
collected , with a cutter from the each of the lines (A,B,& C)
at an interval of every two hours from each operation lines. PER DAY = Rs. _____________ ________________________________
(OF 3 SHIFTS.)
LUMP ore sample should be collected with a cutter from the ____________________________________________________
stream of Con- 1049 at an interval of one cut at every one
hours in each shift.
FINE ORE sample should be collected at discharge end of
Con – 1056 by 4 Kg scoop at the rate of one scoop full at
an interval of every 5 minutes throughout each Shift.
SLIME samples are to be collected during Wet Screening
operations as directed by Engineer - In - Charge.
Fine ore Dump / Tailing dam samples have also to be prepared.
B. Lump and Fine Ore rake despatches samples will be
Collected from respective conveyors. However, the procedures
and quantity of sampling will be different which is given below.

02. LUMP ORE RAKE SAMPLING.


Sample is to be collected at con.-1066. One cut at every 300 RAKES
4th wagon during loading of LUMP ore. This constitutes PER RAKE = Rs. ______________ _______________________________
one Unit sample. Total 14/15 unit samples are to be drawn from
each Rake ( 58 Wagon / 52 Wagon ). ___________________________________________________

03. FINE ORE RAKE SAMPLES


Samples are to be drawn from face of the stream at discharge
end of Feeder Con - 1076 during fine ore rake under loading 900 RAKES
at the rate of 5 Scoop full at equal spacing completion PER RAKE = Rs. ______________ ________________________________
of every second wagon till completion of Loading of the Rake.

FOR SCREENING PLANT


01. Screening Plant production sample. ROM con-1031 samples 360 Days of work.
is collected by stopped belt method from the each of the four
lines (A, B,C&D) at an interval of every two hours from each PER DAY=Rs -------------------------- ----------------------------

LUMP ORE sample should be collected with a cutter from the
stream of Con-1049 at an interval of one cut at every one
hour in each shift.
FINE ORE sample should be is collected at discharge end of
Con.- 1056 by 4 Kg scoop at the rate of one scoop full
at an interval of every 5 minutes throughout each Shift.
SLIME SAMPLES are to be collected during Wet Screening
operations as directed by Engineer - In - Charge.
Fine ore Dump / Tailing dam samples have also to be prepared.

FOR LOADING PLANT


02. LUMP ORE / CLO RAKE SAMPLING.
Sample is to be collected at con-66. One cut at every
7th/ 8th wagon during loading of LUMP / CLO Rake. This 300 RAKES
constitutes one Unit sample. Total Six unit samples are to (LUMP+CLO) Rs. ----------------------- ---------------------------------

03. FINE ORE RAKE SAMPLES


Samples to be drawn from face of the stream at discharge
end of Feeder Con - 114 during fine ore rake under loading
at the rate of 5 Scoop full at equal spacing at every 900 RAKES
2 minutes / on completion of every second wagon till PER RAKE = Rs. ------------------ ------------------------
