Responsible for the management, administration, training, and development of the
Simulation Training Support Team; including planning, development and execution
of all live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) events and exercises. Oversees th
e design, testing and validation of computer modeled simulation applications and
/or scenarios involving BLUFOR and OPFOR organizational and operational activiti
es including tactical response, crisis management, disaster recovery, and combat
action via emerging technology over multiple networks. Plans and conducts exec
utive level meetings for complex, multi-level exercises involving both CONUS and
OCONUS sites to synchronize schedules, develop databases, build exercise scenar
ios, identify work station player/controller training requirements, determine ex
ercise execution timelines, and participation in unit after action reviews (AAR'
s). Monitors exercise progress to ensure that several facilities, containing se
veral million dollars worth of computer systems and related networking equipment
are managed and operated under established guidelines. Coordinates directly wi
th US Government officials to ensure exercises are sufficiently resourced, super
vised and completed according to customer specifications. Develops, integrates,
and markets new joint, tactical, and operational simulations and tools to assis
t clients in accomplishing goals.
