at risk youth and their families and distributing public awareness to a 28 coun
ty region for over 65,000 people each year. Brought in $1.6 million in grants, r
e-developed administrative, fiscal and program internal operations procedures. C
reated public awareness campaign for council programs and services. Re-located
facility and did finish out for 12,000 sq. ft.
4- 2006 - 10 2006 Interim CEO JOVEN (Juvenile Outreach
and Vocational Education Network,) San Antonio, TX
Chief Executive Officer for youth program serving over 13,000 at risk youth and
their families. Stabilized agency contracts, improved government and community r
elations, staff turnover during transitional period. Brought in $1.9 million in
grants, re-developed program for after school and in-school education and counse
ling programs.
