technologies in computer tomography. I am a highly motivated individual and is

dult & pediatric patients under indirect supervision.

-Assures safety as well as comfort, physical & psychological needs of all patien

Explains exam in detail at onset.
-Provides necessary safety measures with attention to radiation protection.
-Prepares sterile fields,trays & instruments -Maintains general order & cleanlin

-Ensures sterility of surgical packs,
trays, & disposables to be used.
-Assists physicians/radiologist with procedures.
-In the absence of nursing personnel, start intravenous & maintains intravenous
fluids, oxygen & otherlife support systems.

-Reviews requisitions, prepares examination schedules & assembles patients previ

-Understands & accepts responsibilities of direct supervision of student technol

-Provides radiology ct technologist (CT) back up on unforeseen absenteeism.

Cardiology - EKG Section
- Performed in & outpatients ekgs ; cut & mount the strips for cardiologist to i
nterpret.
- Performed exercise tolerance test (stress test); cut & mount results in strips
to be interpreted by cardiologist.
-Prepared & advised patients on 24 hour holter monitors purpose & function; upon
termination of study - have the tape ready for reading & interpretation by phy
sician.
-Performed phonocardiogram, vectorcardiogram,
pacemaker check.

Radiologic Technologist -
CT Technologist
- Performs all duties of a CT radiologic technologist as needed.
-Performs computed tomography studies; positions patients & provides
immobilization means as needed; selects technical factors & protocols that will
result in optimum imaging for each individual patient.
-Receives & properly identifies patient, ascertains preparation procedures are p
roper & in order; assures safety as well as comfort, physical & psychological ne
eds of all patients throughout the examination; explains exam in detail at onset
.
- Start intravenous line for IV contrast study, ascertain that its patent throu
ghout the study
- Outpatients - make sure the requisition matches with requested exam.
- Inpatients - retrive all orders from the order queue & schedule them according

- Assisted visitors & family members to make their stay comfortable.
-Perform routine chest, abdomen, pelvic CT scans, CTA of the chest, abdomen, pel
vis, Cardiac scoring, cardiac CTA, Runoff CTA of the extremities.
-Assist in biopsy,drainage, aspirations,ablations & other special procedure util
izing CT Scans.
_Had participated in numerous research studies,using CT Scans to scan cadavers,
mummies, live human subjects.
Diagnostic Medical Laboratory
General Ultrasonographer -
-Ultrasound scan, process images & interpret tests for radiologist to finalize.
-Ultrasound chest, abdomen, pelvis, OB-GYN, breasts, thyroid, testicles, carotid
s, & doppler.
-Schedule appointments, check insurance validity, check ordered exams against re
quisitions.
Community Health Care Plan -
EKG / Cardiology Technician
-Work under the indirect supervision of a Cardiologist/internist, performing EKG
s, pacemaker checks, 24 hr holter monitor, & exercise tolerance tests.
-Prepare & interpret EKG & other related results for cardiologist to finalize.
-Schedule appointments, pull patients charts, file reports & deliver the results
to referring physicians & clinics.
