SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE:

Lead Electrical Engineer

BP ,Whiting,Indiana (Sept.2006 to April 2010)
As an area lead electrical engineer developed front end engineering package for
a crude distillation unit(No.12 PipeStill Unit) which included, Design Basis, Sc
ope of Work, preliminary loads and equipment lists, preliminary drawings such as
single line diagrams, area classification, switchgear building layouts and prov
ide input to project cost estimate.
After completion of front end engineering, continued working on detail design a
ctivities such as development single line diagrams, schematic diagrams, and syst
em studies, such as, short circuit studies and protective relay coordination stud
ies. Also monitored and guided project design and development group to assure co
mpliance with established project specifications and deliverable quality.
PRINCIPAL DESIGN ENGINEER
FLUOR DANIEL, INC., Sugar Land, TX (Dec.2005 - August 2006)
Developed reference power plant design of a 275 MW combined cycle power plant u
tilizing GE Frame 7EA gas turbines , STGs and Deltak HRSGs. for various location
s in Texas.
Shaw,Stone & Webster, Houston,Texas (Nov.2003 to Dec. 2005)

As an area Electrical engineer, directed the engineering and design efforts in i
nstallation of electrical facilities for a low sulfur diesel unit at Valero refi
nery. As part of the detail design, Mr. Bolar developed all major equipment spec
ifications, and material requisitions for purchase. Prepared one line diagrams,
schematic and interconnection diagrams.
Astoria Energy Power Project (Nov. 2003 to Jan.2005)
Astoria Energy LLC. New York City, New York
As an Area Electrical Engineer, directed the engineering and design efforts in t
he installation of Air Cooled Condensers, HRSGs and associated Power Distributio
n Centers for 550 MW combined cycle power plant. The project utilized GE Frame 7
FA gas turbines and Alstom HRSGs and STG.

FLUOR DANIEL, INC., Sugar Land, TX (2001 - 2003)

PRINCIPAL DESIGN ENGINEER
ExxonMobil Low Sulfur Mogas Project, Baytown, Texas. (March 2001 - June 2003)
Perform as Lead Electrical Engineer for the ExxonMobil project consisting of IFP
reaction section, two stage Scanfining reaction section to hydro-desulfurize 10
0,000 BPSD of light cat naphtha feed at Baytown, Texas.
As part of the front end engineering phase of the project, develop Design Basis,
Scope of Work, preliminary loads and equipment lists, preliminary drawings such
as single line diagrams, area classification, switchgear building layouts and p
rovide input to project cost estimate.
Perform detail design activities such as motor transient studies for a 14,000 Hp
induction motor, short circuit studies and protective relay coordination studie
s. Also monitor and guide project design and development to assure compliance wi
th established project specifications and deliverable quality.
