I seek an opportunity to work directly for a manufacturer that allows me to
develop my abilities and grow my career.
This career move will utilize my understanding of the relationship between
the end user and supplier. I am responsible for many successful specifications,
and sales to distributors, as well as sales directly to the end user. I have att
ended multiple construction product training seminars, and have earned my privat
e pilots license as well as attending college.
I feel I have the ability to work with a key manufacturer, to develop his
market and insure he reaches his sales goals. I want to be a problem solver and

I was hired to develop sales in the Northwest Indiana Market. I increased sales
over 100% with high margins, winning the 2008 Presidents award for top sales ach
ievement in the company. I sold stone and aggregate products to Municipalities R
eady mixed Concrete Companies and Contractors.

2004-2006 Key Resin Batavia, Ohio


I was first hired on as a 100% commission manufacturer's representative. After a
very successful first year I was offered and accepted a salaried position, with
a bonus structure, with vehicle and General expenses. I was given a territory w
ith no existing business. I prospected for new accounts and tracked jobs with th
e Reed program. I obtained specifications and master specifications, with multip
le architects. I built the territory from nothing, to half a million in sales my
first year.
I have since increased sales as well as my customer base.
2003-2004 Deslauriers Broadview, Illinois
While working inside sales, at Deslauriers, I focused on actively pursuing new
accounts, specifications, as well as customer service. I worked both inside and
outside sales. Deslauriers, is a key construction supplier, since 1888. I sold a
wide line of construction forms, concrete and masonry testing equipment for Des
lauriers.
My duties were primarily cold calling, both inside and out, to bring on new acco
unts.
I worked with distributors and major contractors to develop turn over orders. I
traveled
to, and set up and tore down, at the World of Concrete. I also sold product for
U.S. Heritage group. A major supplier of Lime based repair products for the rest
oration industry. My father was a Cofounder of U.S. Heritage and Deslauriers was
their marketing and sales agent. I was also responsible for Architectural speci
fications for both companies.

2002-2003

I had earned my pilots license and I was working at UPS in hopes of building ti

Fly freight for UPS. UPS had a program to take qualified pilots from inside at
the time.
My duties were pre load, loading, and delivery assistant.
