Customers want their issue listened to fully. They want their customer service rep to ask
pertinent questions in a friendly manner. They want to know whoever they're talking to has
knowledge and the authority to make a decision - or to quickly find a definitive and
satisfactory answer without having to be transferred or be put on hold too long. Customers
also do not want: rudeness, indecisive answers, being transferred more than once, going
through multiple automated menus, and being hung up on. Make them feel like they're
dealing with the happy and knowledgeable clerk at the little market on the corner in 1925 and
you'll have a customer for life.

What is customer care and customer service ? ]

Well I am afraid I don't know what "customer care" is but I am guessing it mean's that people
that work at a perticular store that they will take care of you e.g, get you more clothes, get
you refreshments, but "customer services" means that if you buy like a top for your family
friend a nice piece of clothing and they either don't like it or they don't fit into it then
"customer services" means that you can return that item.
Well effective customer service can affect the customer by putting them in a better mood. If
they need something they dont want to have to deal with an irritating staff because then
whatever they are looking for wont be worth there time if they can not get it easily. For
example: A women asks an employee where an item is and he does not know. She askes
others too and they all give her attitude and are not helpfull. She would end up leaving the
store to either find somewere else to shop because she did not find what she was looking for,
or she would have found it herself but would go somewere else the next time because she
does not like the store. So if you have good customer servise you will please the customer
and keep them comeing back.

Effective Customer service benefits the Customer because the customer's needs are met,
whether it's a product or service. It benefits the organization because it helps to build
customer loyalty, repeat business, and positive word of mouth. Ultimately, this translates into
higher sales for the organization and a positive reputation in the community.
Because effective customer service leads to higher sales and a positive reputation in the
community, it benefits the employee from the standpoint of the company doing well. When
the company does well, the employee's job security is greater. Higher sales can also lead to
increases in salaries, benefits, compensation package, rewards, more money available for
training and development of the employee, etc.
It also benefits the employee who is providing efficient customer service in that it they feel
good about what they do and improves morale.
However, for example, if two McDonald's opened up right beside each other, one provides
effective customer service and one provides excellent or superior customer service, the
McDonald's providing effective customer service would be out of business within two years.
A. Pengertian Customer Service
Artinya bahwa Customer Service adalah orang yang dapat membina hubungan baik
dengan seluruh tamunya.sehingga merasa senang, puas dan makin percaya. Customer
Service harus menyiapkan brosur dan formulir-formulir untuk tamu, ikut membantu
mengisi formulir.
