o 1998. Responsible for closing sales and assisted with writing Statements of Wo
rk and managing engagements. Multiple large project engagements.
Project Manager, self employed 1994 - 1995. Delivered project to manage archite
cture, design, justification of large scale 100 county deployment for a governme
nt organization.
IBM, ($65B computer software/hardware company) 1976 to 1994. Recruited by IBM to
join Branch Office for an existing large complex distributed environment. Prom
oted through variety of positions, including, but not limited to:
Senior Staff, Networking Systems Division. Resolved R&D issues and managed dev
elopment plans across all 16 global IBM software development divisions.
Chief Architect, MQSeries. Consolidated 32 different Message Queuing System de
velopment efforts into one product, saving over $250M in product development cos
ts. Managed both Architecture and initial Product Development of MQ Series, gene
rating more than $800M in global sales revenue.
Chief Architect, Computer Integrated Manufacturing. Turned small conceptual pr
oject into a series of commercial products, generating $2B+ new annual global sa
les by commercializing internal products. Coordinated $1B global development e
