uits restaurant operations in the Southeast Region. Openings, operations, traini
ng, co-op organization and meetings, marketing coordination, P&L results, sales
increases, transactions increases, Brand Image and business planning through qua
rterly business reviews with franchisee's and goal setting for next quarter.
My area led the company for three straight years in sales increases and Guest ex
perience monitor. Opened new restaurants and trained management in all phases of
shift control and P&L analysis. I assessed operations and marketing events to i

2002 to 2004
Director of Franchise Services for a worldwide family owned Pizzeria and pasta c
hain.
Opened the first unit in Honduras, Central America in July 2003. Directed franch
ise support in Aruba, Puerto Rico and the Bahamas. Directed operations in six co
untries and 12 states. Supervised the operations of franchisees in sensitive loc
ations such as the Pentagon, CIA headquarters, naval bases the National Institut
e of Health and other military locations. Developed two operations specialist to
perform duties under my direction. Responsible for royalty stream generated fro
m over 55 million in sales. Established a franchise advisory council to gain sup

1996 to 2002
Hit revenue targets, franchise growth and development for over 1000 units and 2
25 franchisees for six years running. Directed the results of eight franchise bu
siness managers, which ensured all franchisees, complied with operational, marke
ting and facility requirements. Directed training and operation activities desig
ned to increase average unit volume and expansion capability, through in-store o
perational consistency, organizational and operational leadership.
* Managed 750 million dollar division with 225 franchisee's and 1000 units. Achi
eved positive comparable sales growth for six years running.
* Directed business planning strategies with formal action plans and timetables
for completion with all franchisees.
* Developed four franchise business managers to get promoted to the next level o

* Formed and chaired the franchise management committee for three years to estab

Provided leadership in site selection and counseling for new unit openings. Assi
sted with creation of pro-forma to present lending institutions with new franchi
sees. Evaluated operational levels of all 200 units in my area.

ling their facilities and buying new equipment and menu boards. Improving brand
image, my area lead the way with over 150 in the three year period served.
Hardee's Food Systems, Rocky Mount, N.C. 1987 to 1993
A regional hamburger chain that bought Roy Rogers chicken and merged them into a
dual brand. Had over 1.5 billion in total sales in 1992.

Reported to the corporate director of training. Responsible for the merger of Ro
y Rogers into Hardees in over 500 restaurants.
* Developed and taught training classes for all levels of management. Taught ove
r 200 classes per year. Certified all levels of management.
