FADE IN:

EXT. PARK - DAY

OPEN ON WUBBZY - bouncing through the park, addresses

CAMERA:

WUBBZY
Wow wow, everybody! Today Daisy
and I are gonna have a picnic in
the park! I love picnics!

Wubbzy stops with a <screech> and realizes:

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Oh - I forgot to bring a blanket
to sit on.

PAN TO DAISY, nearby.

DAISY
<giggles> That's okay, Wubbzy. I
brought one.

She rolls the blanket out on the ground.

WUBBZY
Oh, boy - I’m hungry. Let's eat!

Wubbzy suddenly remembers:

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Wait a minute - I didn't bring any
food.

Daisy brings over a whole basket full of sandwiches,

veggies and fruit.

DAISY
(hands Wubbzy a plate
of food)
Don't worry. I brought enough for
both of us.

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

WUBBZY
Gee, thanks, Daisy.

Wubbzy hurriedly eats his sandwich.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
(cheeks full of food)
Now I’m thirsty!
(realizes)
Oh, no. I didn't bring anything
to drink!

DAISY
Have some grapity-grape juice,
Wubbzy. I brought extra.

Daisy hands a juice box to Wubbzy.

WUBBZY
Wow, Daisy! You thought of
everything!

DAISY
You should always be prepared!

Just then, they hear a <sound> coming from nearby.

UNIHORN (0.S.)
Boop? Boop?

Suddenly, a little, PINK POLKA-DOT UNIHORN (which looks

like a unicorn) prances out from the trees, and around
the picnic blanket.

WUBBZY
Wow! Wow! What is that?

DAISY
I don't know, but it's the cutest
thing ever!

Daisy reaches out to pet the creature.

DAISY (CONT'D)
Hello! What's your name?

All the unihorn can say is:

UNIHORN
Boop?

Daisy cradles it in her arms.

(CONTINUED)

DAISY
(to UniHorn)
You are sooo sweet! I’m going to
call you Princess!

She puts the unihorn in her basket.

DAISY (CONT'D)
Let’s go home, Princess!

UNIHORN
Boop?

Daisy skips off with the Unihorn.

WUBBZY
(scratches his head)
Boop?

He shrugs, and follows them off.

EXT. DAISY'S FRONT YARD - DAY

Wubbzy and Daisy enter. They sit on the doorstep. She

takes the unihorn out of her basket. From her backpack
Daisy takes a ribbon and ties it around the unihorn's
horn.

DAISY
Wubbzy, can you watch Princess for
a minute while I go get her some
outfits?

WUBBZY
Outfits?

DAISY
Yes - we’re going to play Little
Fashion Princess Dress-up Party.

WUBBZY
Okay.

DAISY
Thank you!

Daisy dashes off into her house.

Wubbzy looks at the little unihorn.

WUBBZY
Hey, Princess - you wanna play
kickety-kickball while Daisy's
inside?

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

UNIHORN
Boop?

Wubbzy kicks a ball to the unihorn, and she nudges it

back to Wubbzy with her nose.

WUBBZY
That’s it!

Wubbzy bounces it back to her, and the unihorn jumps up

to bounce it back. But the ball hits her horn and bursts
with a loud <POP>! The frightened little unihorn runs
around in a panic.

UNIHORN
Boop-Boop! Boop-Boop!

As the unihorn runs OUT OF FRAME, Wubbzy picks up the

flattened ball.

WUBBZY
Wow - I guess I need a new kickety-
kick ball.

Now Wubbzy looks around for Princess.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Princess...? Hey, where did you
go?

Wubbzy starts looking through the bushes.

Daisy comes out of the house, carrying several doll

outfits on hangers.

DAISY
I found some really cute outfits
for you, Princess...Where is she?

Wubbzy pops out of a bush.

WUBBZY
I think she ran away!

DAISY
Ran away? Oh, dear - we have to
find her!

They look around the yard, calling out:

DAISY/WUBBZY
Princess! / Boop-Boop!

They head out of the yard.

EXT. PARK

Daisy and Wubbzy walk through the park, searching.

DAISY/WUBBZY
Princess! / Boop-Boop!

Still nothing.

DAISY
Where do you think she went,
Wubbzy?

WUBBZY
I don’t know...But I have an idea!
Let's go to the Wubb Club - maybe
Widget and Walden will know how to
find her.

Wubbzy and Daisy run off.

EXT. WUBB CLUB - DAY

TRUCK IN AND
DISSOLVE TO:

INT. WUBB CLUB - DAY

Calm Widget and Walden with excited Wubbzy and Daisy.

WIDGET
Why, sure, we'll help you find
your pet, Daisy.

WALDEN
Yes yes yes. What sort of
creature is it?

DAISY
We don't know. But she’s this
big...
(gestures with hands)
And she's covered with cute pink
polka-dots.

WUBBZY
Yeah! And she has a horn...
(points to his head)
Right here!

WALDEN
Hmmm - Horn...horn...
(flips through book)
(MORE)
(CONTINUED)

WALDEN (CONT'D)
Ah, yes, here it is! The 'Pinky-
Dot UniHorn’!

Walden holds up a picture of the unihorn.

DAISY
That’s Princess!

WALDEN
(reads)
“The Unihorn is a rare creature
found only in the Wuzamboo
Jungle.”

WUBBZY
(puzzled)
The Wuzamboo Jungle?

WALDEN
Yes yes yes. “It's a wild place,
filled with bugs, and rainforests,
and tall pointy Mountains.”

WUBBZY
(fascinated)
Wow...! Do you think she might
have gone there?

DAISY
Oh, my! We've got to bring poor
Princess back here, where it's
safe!

WUBBZY
(shouts, excited)
You’re right! Let’s go!

But, Daisy stops him.

DAISY
Wait, Wubbzy. If we're going to
the jungle, we should be prepared.
I'm going to get my safari outfit,
and my hiking boots, and my
backpack, and my first-aid kit.

Daisy runs off while Wubbzy waits impatiently.

WALDEN
Daisy has a point, you know.

WIDGET
You should always be prepared.

Widget and Walden also dash off to get their things.

WUBBZY
Well, I'm prepared to have fun!
To the Wubbmobile!

Wubbzy bounces off through a hole.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Wheeee!

WE FOLLOW him through a twisty, turny tunnel that leads

to...

EXT. WUBB CLUB - WUBBMOBILE CARPORT - DAY

Wubbzy <pops> out from a hole in the wall, landing in the

Wubbmobile. His seat belt snaps into place.

A moment later Daisy, Walden and Widget, all in safari

outfits with backpacks, <pop> out of holes and land
beside Wubbzy.

WUBBZY
Finally! Wuzamboo Jungle, here we
come!

The Wubbmobile drives off.

EXT. LEAVING WUZZLEBERG - DAY

The Wubbmobile drives out of Wuzzleburg and into the

country. The Wubbmobile travels over rocky, hilly
terrain, bouncing along on its springy wheels.

WUBBZY
Are we there yet?

WALDEN
(checking map)
Not yet.

EXT. MOUNTAIN

The Wubbmobile stops before a huge monolithic mountain.

Widget engages the Helicopter feature, and copter blades
lift the Wubbmobile straight up and over the mountain.

WUBBZY
Are we there yet?

WALDEN
Not yet.
 8.

EXT. LAKE

The Wubbmobile pulls up to a LAKE. Widget activates the

submarine feature, and a periscope and propellers emerge.
The Wubbmobile dives down into the lake.

UNDERWATER - they watch strange fish swimming past the

window.

EXT. LAKE - OTHER SHORE

The Wubbmobile emerges on the far shore, and becomes a

land vehicle again.

INSIDE WUBBMOBILE - as Wubbzy grows anxious.

WUBBZY
Say, where exactly is this
Wuzamboo Jungle, Walden?

WALDEN
(looks in book)
It says here, just keep going
until you can’t go any farther.

THE WUBBMOBILE - suddenly comes to <screeching> halt

before a thick impenetrable tangle of trees and vines.

WUBBZY
I think this is it.

Daisy reads aloud the sign:

DAISY
(reads)
“Welcome to Wuzamboo.”

WIDGET
Jeepers, this jungle is too thick
for even the Wubbmobile to get
through.

WALDEN
We'll have to travel by foot.

WUBBZY
And by TAIL! C'mon!

Wubbzy hops out of the vehicle and bounces into the

foliage. The others march behind him.
 9.

EXT. JUNGLE - SWAMP

As Wubbzy bounces along, he comes to the edge of a swamp,

and discovers a swarm of INSECTS.

WUBBZY
Wow! What kind of bugs are these?

WALDEN
(reads from his book)
Hmm. I believe they're Doodle-
Bugs.

DAISY
Why do they call them Doodle Bugs?

WALDEN
Because...

Suddenly the DOODLE-BUGS raise a <click-clicking> sound,

and swarm up into the air, looking like winged crayons.

DAISY
Uh-oh! Time for the bug nets!

Nets drop from the brims of Daisy's, Widget's and

Walden's helmets, shielding their faces. But Wubbzy is
totally unprotected, and the Doodle Bugs swarm all over
him.

WUBBZY
Hey! Yikes! Help!

Widget and Walden shoo the bugs away. WE SEE that

Wubbzy’s face and body is covered with doodles; a
mustache, tattoos, etc.

WALDEN
As I was saying, they’re called
Doodle Bugs because they like to
doodle.

Daisy rolls up her netting.

DAISY
<giggles> It’s a good thing we
were prepared.

Daisy, Widget and Walden move on. Wubbzy checks his

mirror image in the swamp water, and turns to CAMERA with
chagrin.

WUBBZY
Wow.

He follows his friends.

 10.

EXT. WUZAMBOO RAINFOREST - DAY

The trail leads into a lush rainforest.

WUBBZY / DAISY
(calling out))
Princess! Boop-boop!

WALDEN
(reads from his book)
We’re in the Wuzamboo Rainforest
now. It’s the wettest spot in all
of the Wuzamboo Jungle.

WUBBZY
(shrugs)
Who’s afraid of a little rain...?

Right on cue, it starts to pour rain.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Hey, I’m getting soaked!

Wubbzy runs around looking for protection, but the rain

is really coming down. Then he gets an idea! He grabs a
huge over-sized leaf and holds it over his head.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Whew! Now I’m dry!

And he is...until the leaf starts bulging with water, and

then a hole pops open, drenching Wubbzy <sploosh!>

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Wow, I wish I had an umbrella...!

DAISY (O.S.)
You can share mine, Wubbzy!

He turns and sees that Daisy, Walden and Widget all have
umbrellas, and are quite dry.

DAISY (CONT'D)
You should always be prepared.

Wubbzy rushes under Daisy’s umbrella.

EXT. MARSHMALLOW MARSH - LATE DAY

They reach a marsh made entirely of marshmallow. There

is a row of rocks dotting the surface of the marsh.

(CONTINUED)

WALDEN
(reads from book)
The Marshmallow Marsh is the
stickiest spot in the Wuzamboo
Jungle.

WUBBZY
Last one across is a rotten
marshmallow!

Wubbzy bounces from rock to rock <boing-boing>.

But one rock turns out to be a TURTLE, which bobs and

sinks under his weight. Wubbzy lands right in the
Marshmallow Marsh with a <GLOP!>

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Ewwww!

Now Daisy, Widget and Walden easily walk across the marsh
on SHORT STILTS.

DAISY
You should always be prepared.

Widget and Walden reach down and yank the marshmallow-

covered Wubbzy out of the sticky mess, and carry him
between them to dry land.

EXT. WUZAMBOO JUNGLE - EVENING

The troop trudges through the jungle as night falls.

The unprepared Wubbzy, worn down and with no spring in
his step, now brings up the rear.

WUBBZY
(worried)
Wow - it’s getting dark. Maybe we
should turn back!

DAISY
Don't worry, Wubbzy. I packed a
flashlight, because...

WUBBZY
(finishes her
sentence)
I know..'you should always be
prepared.'

Suddenly they hear <scary sounds> coming from up ahead.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
What’s that noise? It’s coming
closer!
(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

Wubbzy jumps behind a rock to hide. Daisy turns on the

flashlight, sweeps it over and discovers... a CHIPMUNK.

CHIPMUNK
<strange little chipmunk sounds>

WIDGET
It's all right, little buddy.
It's just a chippy-chipmunk.

WUBBZY
(peeks out)
Oh. Ha...ha,ha...

Walden reads the book with his flashlight.

WALDEN
If my calculations are correct,
the Unihorn Meadow should be just
ahead.

They move forward to...

EXT. WUZAMBOO JUNGLE - CLEARING - NIGHT

The group emerges into a clearing where the moonlight is

shining brightly.

DAISY
Ooo, look!

PAN TO A gathering of dozens of PINKY-DOT UNIHORNS

dancing under the full moon.

UNIHORNS
Boop-boop-boop!

Daisy is delighted to see Princess, wearing her pink bow,

joyously booping with her group.

DAISY
(excited)
Princess! There you are!

Daisy runs to Princess and gives her a big hug.

PRINCESS
Boop?

WUBBZY
(puzzled)
Why do they just keep saying
'Boop?'

(CONTINUED)

WALDEN
(consults book)
Hmm...Let’s see....Ah! Because
'Boop' is the UniHorn word for
'Home.'
(shuts book)
You see, Daisy, This is Princess'
real home, and her real family.

Daisy looks around at the happy family of UniHorns.

DAISY
(sad)
Then I guess this is where she
really belongs.

WUBBZY
You’re right, Daisy. It wouldn’t
be right to take her away from
here.

Daisy gives Princess another big hug. She lets Princess

go, and the little Unihorn rushes to join her friends.

UNIHORNS
Boop-boop-boop-boop!

Daisy sighs sadly, but then she perks up.

DAISY
But we can always come back and
visit her, right, Wubbzy?

WUBBZY
Sure, and next time I'll be better
prepared. But right now, I'm
prepared to go home!

DAISY
You mean, go 'boop'?

WUBBZY/DAISY/WIDGET/WALDEN
<laugh>

They start to head off, but stop as Daisy turns to the

herd.

DAISY
(waving)
Bye, bye, Princess.

PRINCESS
Boop-boop!

UNIHORNS
Boop-boop!

Our friends head back to the Wubbmobile.

EXT. FULL MOON OVER WUZAMBOO JUNGLE - NIGHT

The Wubbmobile is silhouetted against the full moon as

they fly home, singing:

WUBBZY/DAISY/WIDGET/WALDEN
Boop-boop-boop!
