EXT. WUBB CLUB - DAY

CLOSE ON WUBBZY - looking AT CAMERA.

WUBBZY
(to CAMERA)
Wow, wow, everybody! Easter is
coming, and everyone’s really
excited...!

PULL BACK TO REVEAL - WUBBZY is sitting at the table,

writing out a list. DAISY, WIDGET and WALDEN are also at
the long table, writing out their lists.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
We’re writing a list of all the
candy we want, so we can send it
to the Easter Bunny!

Wubbzy points to the wall behind him, at -

A PHOTO of Wubbzy, sitting on the Easter Bunny’s lap.

ON DAIZY - she is writing her list on flower-shaped

paper, with floral stickers and hearts all over it.

DAIZY
(writing)
I want some purple peeps!

ON WIDGET - She has built a writing machine that holds a

pen and writes out the list as she speaks into a
dictaphone.

WIDGET
I want some chocolate zing-zangs!

ON WALDEN -he has spreadsheets and pie charts spread out

on the table; working with a compass and projector, he
very scientifically decides:

WALDEN
I want some yummy gummy-wummies.
(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

BACK ON WUBBZY - finishing his list.

WUBBZY
And I want lots and lots of orange
snoodle-doodles!
(signs with a
flourish)
There - That’s all I want!

Wubbzy stands up, and we see that his list is so big, it

falls right to the floor <plop!>

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
<giggles>

DAIZY
(seals her envelope)
Let’s go to the post office!

EXT. POST OFFICE

As Wubbzy and friends arrive, there is a huge CROWD

outside the post office - all the Wuzzleburgers are
holding their letters to the Easter Bunny.

WUBBZY
Wow - everybody in Wuzzleburg is
sending a letter to the Easter
Bunny!

As the crowd waits, the POSTMASTER emerges from the door.

POSTMASTER
(clears his throat)
Excuse me...Ladies and Gentleman
...I’m afraid I have bad news.

A <RUMBLE> of concern goes through the crowd.

WUBBZY
(to his friends)
Uh oh. Maybe they ran out of
stamps?

POSTMASTER
We just got word: Easter has been
cancelled this year!

Now a wave of <SHOCK AND DISBELIEF> rolls through the

crowd.

WUBBZY
Cancelled?

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

DAIZY
Lavender lollipops - this is
terrible! No peeps?

WIDGET
No zing-zangs?

WUBBZY
No snoodle-doodles?

ALL
<a sad sigh>

DAIZY
Golly wolly, do you think the
Easter Bunny might be sick?

WUBBZY
Maybe he is. Let’s go over to
Easter Egg Island right now and
see if we can help him.

WIDGET
Good idea, Wubbster!

ALL
To the Wubbmobile!

And they rush off...

EXT. WUBBMOBILE

The Wubbmobile, with Wubbzy and Co. inside, heads for

Lake Wuzzleburg.

EXT. LAKE WUZZLEBURG

As the Wubbmobile heads right into Lake Wuzzleburg, it

transforms into a boat with propeller and sails. It
cuts across the lake at a smart pace.

INT. WUBBMOBILE

Wubbzy scans the horizon.

WUBBZY
(points)
There’s Easter Egg Island!

HIS POV - we see EASTER EGG ISLAND, with its monolithic

Bunny Statues on the beach.

EXT. EASTER EGG ISLAND - BEACH

The Wubbmobile pulls up to the beach, and our friends get

out.

WALDEN
Hmm - I don’t see the Easter Bunny
hopping around at all.

WUBBZY
No - but I see an awful lot of
empty candy wrappers.

Wubbzy points out a wrapper on the beach.

DAIZY
(points)
And there’s another wrapper!

WUBBZY
Let’s follow the trail!

The foursome start following the trail of candy wrappers

as they wind in and around the monolithic statues. A
flock of live MARSHMALLOW PEEPS skitters past, <cheeping>

DAIZY
Ooo, look at those cute peeps!

EXT. ISLAND TRAIL - CONTINUOUS

They follow the wrappers through the island, passing - a

GROVE of EASTER EGG TREES.

WUBBZY
Wow - Easter Egg Trees!

Then - a JELLY BEAN GARDEN -

WIDGET
And a Jelly Bean Garden!

Then - a MARSHMALLOW WATERFALL -

WALDEN
And a Marshmallow Waterfall!

Suddenly they hear <moaning>...

EASTER BUNNY (O.S.)

<Moan...!>

DAIZY
Did you hear that moaning?

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

Wubbzy points to - THE EDGE OF THE MEADOW - A colorful

egg-shaped house with a round opening in the middle, much
like a Faberge egg.

WUBBZY
It’s coming from the Easter
Bunny’s house!

Wubbzy bounces ahead, towards the Easter Bunny’s house.

EXT. EASTER BUNNY’S HOUSE - DAY

Wubbzy bounces up the steps and into the Egg House.

INT. EASTER BUNNY’S HOUSE

Wubbzy stands in the front doorway and calls out...

WUBBZY
Hello, Mr. Easter Bunny! Are you
all right?

EASTER BUNNY (O.S.)

<moans> Ohhhhh...

CAMERA PANS ACROSS ROOM TO - THE EASTER BUNNY, sitting in

an armchair, surrounded by open candy wrappers, half-
eaten peeps and crumpled milk boxes. He sports a huge
pot belly, and his eyes are bleary.

EASTER BUNNY (CONT'D)

Ohhh, boy...

As Wubbzy’s eyes pop, Walden and Widget and Daizy enter.

WUBBZY
Wow wow wow!

WIDGET
Jeepers, that is one big Bunny!

DAIZY
What happened to you, Mr. Easter
Bunny?

EASTER BUNNY
Well, I was putting together my
Easter baskets, and I tasted one
little chocolate egg. And it was
so good that I had another, and
then another, and then I had some
zing-zangs, and a few gummy-
wummys, and then a whole bag of
snoodle-doodles...!
(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

WUBBZY
Snoodle-doodles are really good!

EASTER BUNNY
And I washed it all down with a
jumbo-sized sugar shake! And
then - I started all over again!

WALDEN
My my my. I believe you’ve gone
candy-crazy.

The Easter Bunny slowly pulls himself out of the chair,

and now his belly seems even bigger.

EASTER BUNNY
I’m so big I can hardly move.
Every time I try to hop, I flop.

When he tries to hop, his huge belly flops up and down,

and he lands back on his tail <plop!>

EASTER BUNNY (CONT'D)

See? There’s no way I can deliver
my baskets. That’s why I had to
cancel Easter.

As he sits on the floor, the Easter Bunny reaches for

another candy and starts unwrapping it.

WUBBZY
Wow! Mr. Bunny, we have to get
you back into shape.

EASTER BUNNY
But how?

WIDGET
No problemo!

CUT TO:

EXT. EASTER BUNNY’S HOUSE

Wubbzy, Walden and the Easter Bunny watch as WE HEAR O.S.

<SOUNDS OF HAMMERING AND DRILLING>. As the Noise ceases,
CAMERA PANS TO -

WIDGET, standing before a fancy Nautilus-type workout

Machine.

WIDGET
Tada! Presenting the Bunny Belly
Blaster 3000!
(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

EASTER BUNNY
(warily)
Belly Blaster...?

WUBBZY
Don’t worry, Mr. Easter Bunny -
exercising is fun!

EASTER BUNNY
But Wubbzy - my work-out clothes
don’t fit me anymore.

Daizy steps up, holding an outfit.

DAIZY
I thought of that! Look - I made
you a brand new outfit.

Daizy holds up the work-out outfit, which has flowers and

butterfly designs embossed on it -and even a trap door in
the back for the bunny’s tail.

DAIZY (CONT'D)
Isn’t it cute?

EXT. BUNNY BLASTER - MOMENTS LATER

The Easter Bunny is wearing the workout outfit, and

running on the treadmill, as a CANDY dangles on a boom
before him, just out of his reach. At the same time he
is lifting weights over his head, while a belt wraps his
belly from behind and jiggles him.

WUBBZY
That’s it! You’re doing great!

ALL
Go! Go! Go!

EASTER BUNNY
You’re right! Exercising is fun!

Revved up, the Easter Bunny starts running really fast-

too fast - and pumping iron at the same time.

EASTER BUNNY (CONT'D)

(breathing hard)
Whoo...Whoo...Whoo...!

Smoke starts rising from the machine - it completely

falls apart under the stress <CRASH!> The Easter Bunny
winds up on the floor, amidst the smoking ruins.

WIDGET
That wasn’t supposed to happen.
(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

EASTER BUNNY
<giggles> Whew! Exercising sure
makes you hungry.

DAIZY
Then let’s get you something
healthy to eat!

WALDEN
Yes yes yes. It’s time for some
Bunny Body Fuel!

INT. EASTER BUNNY’S HOUSE - KITCHEN

Walden has different fruits and vegetables set up at the

table.

WALDEN
You see, Mr. Bunny, you don’t have
to eat candy and chocolate all the
time. There are lots of healthy
foods, like plaid apples, curly
corn, ring-a-ding-ding-beans, and
even kooky carrots.

EASTER BUNNY
Carrots? Covered with chocolate?

WALDEN
No. But you can have lots of fun
with fruits and vegetables. Look!

Walden arranges the vegetables on a plate to make a funny

face.

PAN TO WUBBZY - he arranges the vegetables, and using a

ring-a-ding-ding bean as a tail, it looks like Wubbzy.

PAN TO DAIZY - making a flower out of peas and asparagus.

PAN TO WIDGET - making a little erector set out of

vegetables, with spinning wheels, etc.

PAN TO THE EASTER BUNNY -

EASTER BUNNY
You’re right - Fruits and
vegetables are fun!

PULL BACK TO REVEAL - he has made a life-size replica of

himself, using vegetables. He takes a bite out of a
carrot “ear”.

EASTER BUNNY (CONT'D)

And yummy!

INT. EASTER BUNNY’S HOUSE - LIVING ROOM

All of our friends are gathered in the living room with

the Easter Bunny.

WUBBZY
One really fun way to exercise is
by dancing. Walden...?

Walden turns on the stereo.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
Let’s all do the Happy Hop!

As the <music> plays, Wubbzy leads them in the dance.

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
“Hop on your left foot, hop on
your right, hop in a circle -
what a happy hoppy sight!”

They all follow Wubbzy’s lead, hopping. The Easter

Bunny’s starts hopping, and his feet land heavily on the
floor <CLOMP! CLOMP!>

WUBBZY (CONT'D)
But don’t hop too hard...!

It’s too late - the Easter Bunny comes down hard, and
crashes right through the floor <CRASH!>. Only his head
is sticking up.

EASTER BUNNY
You’re right - dancing is fun!

<MUSIC> CONTINUES OVER:

A ROCKY-TYPE MONTAGE

The Easter Bunny is laboriously running up a flight of

stairs, at the top of which is a totem-like Bunny statue.

The Bunny is lifting weights, struggling with a pole that

has easter baskets dangling from each end.

The Bunny tries to sneak a candy. But as he checks to see

if no one is looking, Wubbzy replaces the candy with a
carrot. The Bunny bites into the carrot, and reacts with
surprise and a big smile.

The Bunny is racing up the stairs again: this time he’s a

little faster, and a little thinner.

The Bunny is balancing on a giant Egg, posing with one

leg up a la the Karate kid.

(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

The Bunny strains as he lifts the pole - now the baskets

are filled with Easter Eggs. He is getting thinner!

The Bunny is chasing live MARSHMALLOW PEEPS around a

barnyard, as they <Cheep!>

The Bunny does the Happy Hop with Wubbzy and Co. As he
hops, the Bunny’s workout pants fall to his ankles. He
sheepishly pulls them up and cinches them with a belt.

Looking buff, the Bunny now lifts the pole right over his
head. PULL BACK TO REVEAL Wubbzy and Daizy in one basket
and Widget and Walden in the other.

Finally a fit and thin Easter Bunny charges up the

stairs, in a classic Rocky moment. <FANFARE> as he
reaches the top and throws his fists in the air in
celebration. His pants fall down again.

<MUSIC ENDS> as the Easter Bunny poses at the top of the

stairs, back in shape and ready for action. Wubbzy and
friends surround him.

WUBBZY
You did it, Mr, Bunny! You’re back
at your hopping weight!

DAIZY
And looking great!

EASTER BUNNY
Thanks - I couldn’t have done it
without your help! And now, if
you’ll excuse me, I have to get
ready for tomorrow.

The Easter Bunny holds up an easter egg. As he squeezes

it, it <cracks> in his hand.

EASTER BUNNY (CONT'D)

Oops. I don’t know my own
strength.

WALDEN
Yes yes yes. And we have to get
back to Wuzzleburg.

WIDGET
To the Wubbmobile!

They head off to the Wubbmobile.

 11.

EXT. EASTER EGG ISLAND - BEACH

The Wubbmobile sails away from Easter Egg Island. The

Easter Bunny stands on the beach, waving goodbye. Then
he hops off with a real spring in his step.

DISSOLVE TO:

INT. WUZZLEBURG - THE NEXT MORNING

WIDE - as the sun rises over Wuzzleburg.

EXT. BUGGY’S HOUSE

BUGGY emerges sleepily from his house. Just then the

Easter Bunny bounds by and hands Buggy a basket.

EASTER BUNNY
Good morning, Buggy! Happy
Easter!

And The Easter Bunny moves on.

BUGGY
(startled)
Thanks!

INTO MONTAGE:

The Easter Bunny delivering baskets to:

HUGGY in front of her house.

EASTER BUNNY
Happy Easter!

THE YUM-YUM RESTAURANT - where CHEF FRITZ is waiting.

EASTER BUNNY (CONT'D)

Happy Easter!

OLD LADY ZAMBONI’S HOUSE- where OLD LADY ZAMBONI and

Polly-Parrot stand on the front stoop.

EASTER BUNNY (CONT'D)

Happy Easter!

EXT. TOWN SQUARE

The happy citizens of Wuzzleburg are gathered, comparing

their Easter baskets. Huggy, Buggy, and Earl show off
their hauls.
(CONTINUED)

CONTINUED:

HUGGY
I got curly corn!

BUGGY
I got kooky carrots!

EARL
I got ring-a-ding-ding beans!

They all reach into their baskets and pull out a candy.

ALL THREE
And candy!!!

EXT. WUBB CLUB

Wubbzy, Daizy, Walden and Widget step outside the Wubb

Club, and look around. But there are no baskets for
them. All is quiet.

WUBBZY
Hey - where are our baskets?

DAIZY
(glumly)
I guess the Easter Bunny didn’t
make it after all.

Suddenly they hear overhead <A LOUD CHOPPY WHIRR>. They

look up and see -

The EASTER BUNNY sitting in a HELICOPTER, lowering a

GIANT BASKET stuffed with vegetables and candy.

EASTER BUNNY
Thanks again, fellas! Happy
Easter!

He drops the basket, and then rides off. They look at

the giant basket with delight.

WUBBZY
Wow!

As WE:

IRIS OUT.

THE END
