FADE IN:

EXT. DAIZY’S HOUSE

WUBBZY is heading over to Daizy’s House. He addresses

CAMERA - “Wow wow, everybody! I’m gonna see what Daizy’s
up to today!” He rings the doorbell, and Daizy yells,
“Come in.”

INT. DAIZY’S HOUSE

DAIZY is busy combing the hair of all her dolls, as she

hums, “La la la la”. Wubbzy is impressed, as Daizy
describes the various hair styles of her dolls. Wow,
she really has a gift for doing hair. “I guess that's
why your own hair looks so cool.” Wubbzy comes up with
an idea -maybe she should open up a hair salon, so she
can make everyone in Wuzzleburg look great. “You’re such
a great hairdresser, everyone will come to you!” Daizy
gets excited - she loves working on hair - she’s going to
do it!

EXT. WUBB CLUB

WIDGET finishes building a stand outside the Wubb Club

where Daizy can set up her hair salon. Daizy paints
flowers on the stand. And Wubbzy brings a jar full of
lollipops - you have to have a lollipop after you get
your hair cut! Daizy is so excited. She can’t wait for
her first customer! So she waits, and waits,
and...nobody shows up. “Where is everybody, Wubbzy?” she
asks. Well, says Wubbzy, it takes time for a business to
take off. They both have a lollipop, and they wait and
wait some more. The grass starts growing higher.

Finally WALDEN walks by. What’s going on here? he asks.

Wubbzy explains that Daizy opened a hair salon, but
nobody’s shown up so far. Walden asks, “Have you
advertised?” Wubbzy realizes, of course, nobody knows
we’re open yet!
 2.

INT. WUBB CLUB

Wubbzy starts making flyers to hand out to the people if

Wuzzleberg. In the meantime, Walden and Widget are
painting a huge banner that reads, “DAIZY’S HAIR SALON -
NOW OPEN!” They’ll definitely get some customers with
this!

EXT. DAIZY’S HAIR SALON

Wubbzy, Widget and Walden head out with their advertising

materials. Daizy is waiting at the stand, chin in hand,
drumming her fingers. Don’t worry, Daizy, you’ll be busy
in no time!

EXT. WUZZLEBURG STREETS

Wubbzy walks through Wuzzleburg, handing out flyers.

“Come to Daizy’s Hair Salon! Get your hair styled, and
get a free lollipop!”

IN THE SKY - the Wubbmobile, with Widget and Walden

waving, flies overhead, trailing the Banner.

EXT.MADAME ZABINGA’S STUDIO

Wubbzy stops at Madame Zabinga’s studio, and tells her

about Daizy’s salon. But MADAME ZABINGA declines - she
already gets her hair done by Monsieur Pierre - he knows
the secret to her beauty.

EXT. OLD LADY ZAMBONI’S HOUSE

Wubbzy knocks on Old Lady Zamboni’s door, and hands her a

flyer. But OLD LADY ZAMBONI already gets her hair permed
and frosted at Mabel’s Beauty Parlor.

EXT. YUM YUM RESTAURANT

Wubbzy tries CHEF FRITZ, but he already goes to Bruno the

Barber to get his moustache trimmed.

EXT. PARK

Wubbzy sits on a park bench with his stack of flyers,

discouraged. The Wubbmobile lands beside him, and Wubbzy
laments to Walden and Widget that he couldn’t find a
single customer for Daizy - they already get their hair
done somewhere else. Hmm, says Walden, we have to find
someone who doesn’t have a regular hairdresser. That’s
right, says Widget, somebody who really needs a haircut.

CONTINUED:

Then we can do a before-and-after picture, and everyone

in Wuzzleburg will be so amazed, they’ll all bring their
business to Daizy! Walden: “Yes yes yes, but who?”

Wubbzy suddenly gets an idea: “I know - Hairy Dan, the

Hermit Man!” Hairy Dan lives in a cave on Mt. Zubba
Bubba, and he has more hair than anybody. If Daizy can
do his hair, she’ll be the most famous hairdresser in
Wuzzleburg! To the Wubbmobile!

EXT. MT ZUBBA BUBBA

The Wubbmobile drives up Mt. Zubba Bubba, and stops in

front of a cave with a mailbox. Wubbzy rings a doorbell
on the side of the cliff, and they hear, “Come in!”

INT. HAIRY DAN’S CAVE

HAIRY DAN the Hermit has long scraggly hair and a beard
that covers his entire face and half of his body. In
fact, when Wubbzy introduces himself and sticks out his
hand, Widget points out, “I think his face is on this
side, little buddy.” And sure enough, Hairy Dan turns
around and parts the hair in front of his eyes. Wubbzy
makes his pitch - Daizy has just opened her hair salon,
and she’d like Hairy Dan to be her first customer.

Hairy Dan is reluctant - he’s kinda used to his hair the

way it is. But when Wubbzy points out that he’ll get a
free lollipop - “in fact, you’ll probably get two!” -
Hairy Dan decides to do it.

EXT. MT ZUBBA BUBBA

The Wubbmobile drives down the mountain with Hairy Dan,

who has his head sticking out of the sun roof, his hair
flowing in the wind. Widget is driving fast, she wants
to get to Daizy’s right away, but then Walden yells,”Look
out for that mud puddle!”

The Wubbmobile splashes through the mud puddle and gets

covered in mud. Pickles and prune juice, says Widget,
we’d better get the Wubbmobile cleaned off! Luckily
the Car Wash is right on the way. Let’s go!

INT. CAR WASH

The Wubbmobile drives into the car wash. Unfortunately,

Hairy Dan is still looking out the sun roof. As they
drive through the wash, Hairy Dan gets soaked, scrubbed,
and blow-dried.
 4.

EXT. DAIZY’S HAIR SALON

They pull up to the Hair Salon. “Here’s your first

customer, Daizy!” But when they turn around, they see
that Hairy Dan has already been cleaned up and styled by
the car wash. His hair is piled up on his head like a
pompadour, and his beard is neatly braided. Hairy Dan
checks himself in the mirror, and is pleased. He takes a
free lollipop, and heads back to his cave.

Daizy is disappointed. She’s never gonna have a

customer!

INT. WUBB CLUB

Wubbzy, Walden and Widget go inside the Wubb Club to

confer. Wubbzy feels bad - he talked Daizy into opening
a hair salon, and now it looks like it’s going to be a
big flop! And it’s all his fault. Oh, if only he had
hair, he could be Daizy’s first customer...

Wubbzy notices a mop leaning against the wall, and he

suddenly has a great idea. Wait a minute - maybe we can
all get our hair done by Daizy! But Walden points out,
we don’t have any hair. Wubbzy takes the mop top and
places it on Walden’s head - now you do! “Great idea,
Wubbster,” says Widget, “we can all wear fake hair and
pretend that we need to get our hair done.” Widget
finds a mess of tangled yarn and sticks it on her head.
Wubbzy goes to the refrigerator and pulls out a bowl of
cold spaghetti - he dumps it on his head. Now we all
have hair!

Yes yes yes, says Walden, but Daizy is going to recognize

us. “Not if we wear disguises!” Wubbzy pulls out three
pairs of glasses with fake noses. They all don their
fake noses and head out of the Wubb Club.

EXT. DAIZY’S HAIR SALON

Daizy is alone at the hair salon. It looks like nobody’s

going to come to her salon. Oh, she might as well give
up!

Now Wubbzy, Widget and Walden appear in their disguises.

Using fake voices, they pretend to be strangers in town -
“My my my, I really need to do something with my hair!”
“Me too.” “Me three.” “Oh, look, a hair salon!” They
approach Daizy and ask if she can take care of their
hair. Daizy is delighted -it’s going to be a challenge,
but she can do it!

CONTINUED:

She takes on Walden first. “My, that’s quite a mop of

hair.” “Yes indeed.” Daizy goes to work, braiding the
mop strands and pinning it up on Walden’s head. “There,
how’s that?” Walden checks the mirror: “Lovely!”

Now she works on Widget. “Your hair is a bit stringy.”

She combs out the yarn and twirls it around Widget’s
ears. “Beautiful!” Says Widget.

Daizy turns to Wubbzy. “Now this is really a challenge.”

Daizy starts combing the spaghetti, and then twirls it as
if it were on a fork, stretching it out and then letting
it spring back <boing!> Wubbzy checks the mirror:
“Fabulous!”

Daizy gives them each a free lollipop. Wubbzy says,”this

is the best hair salon I’ve ever been to!” As he licks
the lollipop, BIRDY-BIRD lands on his head and starts
pecking at the spaghetti. ‘Hey, Birdy-bird, get away!”
Daizy is puzzled: “How did you know her name was Birdy-
Bird?” As Wubbzy hems and haws, more birds land on
Wubbzy’s head and start eating the spaghetti, pulling
strands away from his head. Wubbzy starts running away,
as the birds chase after him.

INT. WUBB CLUB

Wubbzy runs through the Wubb Club, as the birds chase

him.

EXT. DAIZY’S HAIR SALON

Running back outside, he collides with Walden and Widget,

and as they fall to the ground, their hairdos and fake
noses fall off. Daizy is shocked: ”Wubbzy! Widget!
Walden! What’s going on here?”

Wubbzy apologizes. He just wanted to help Daizy get her

hair salon started. Birdy-Bird cheep-cheeps an apology,
too. Daizy says it’s okay, maybe someday she’ll have a
hair salon.

Wubbzy notices that Birdy-Bird has one feather that’s a

bit long and scraggly. Could Daizy give her a quick
trim? After Daizy snips the feather, a SHAGGY CAT bounds
in and chases Birdy-Bird away.

“Hey, Mr. Cat,” says Wubbzy, “you look like you could use
a trim, too.” Daizy is happy to trim the Cat’s fur and
whiskers. “And here’s a free lollipop, too!” That
gives Wubbzy a great idea - why not start a beauty salon
for pets? Walden and Widget think it’s a great idea,
too...!
 6.

EXT. DAIZY’S HAIR SALON - LATER

A line extends outside Daizy’s hair salon. Madame

Zabinga has her lap dog, Old Lady Zamboni has Polly-
Parrot...the pets are all waiting to get their hair done.
The salon is a great success!

Inside, Daizy is working wonders on a chipmunk. When

she’s finished, Wubbzy hands the chipmunk a lollipop.
Then Wubbzy takes one for himself, and <giggles> AS WE:

FADE OUT.
