uccessful 16-year track record of providing a very high level of technical suppo
rt for both internal and external clients at Thomson Reuters As a Senior Enter
prise Engineer, I have extensive hands on systems engineering experience on near
ly all industry standard server and desktop operating systems and software appli
cations. Inclusive of such systems engineering experience would be building and
configuring both enterprise class server and desktop systems from the ground up
, enabling full network connectivity to all Thomson Reuters datafeed systems and
integrating the newly built financial system onto a client's existing enterpris
e network which could span across several countries outside of North America. I
have extensive vendor management experience as my area of responsibility encompa
ssed a broad geographic region which required me to utilize third party provider
s effectively. I have also spearheaded and completed several significant compan
y projects which have resulted in significant cost savings for Thomson Reuters.
My last project involved phasing out the Bermuda Data Center and seamlessly mig
rating the entire island country to the MPLS platform which resulted in at least
a $300K yearly savings for the company. Prior to this I managed and completed
the migration of all clients in Nassau, Cayman, Barbados and Trinidad from the l
egacy satellite based AMS system which required expensive point to point circuit
s from North America to each island country to the Internet based delivery syste
m. This resulted in at least a $450k yearly savings for the company.
