Director of Development: February 2003 to November 2005
* Managed the foundation, corporate and major donor programs for the USA divisio
n of the Austrian based international charity SOS Children's Villages.
* Established the policies for direct marketing as well as the database protocol
s. Developed and implemented an extensive 10 year strategic plan.
* Identified and then researched potential foundation donors. Placed millions o
f dollars in proposals in market and consistently surpassed appointed goals.
* Created the revenue tracking systems for each of the fundraising departments o
f SOS-USA and produced a monthly executive summary.
* Key donors included: The Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Cemex Corporate Foundati
on, Johnson & Johnson Foundation, AT&T Foundation and Altria Foundation.
* Analyzed and interpreted project requests, considered the ideas of various sta
