EXPERIENCE
MIC Group - Controller - Brenham, TX 8/2007-present
Reported directly to the CFO and responsible for the accounting , payroll, and o
rder entry functions including product costing and pricing, financial reporting
and analysis, forecasting and budgeting, working capital and capital expenditure
s, system designs and implementations, multi plant consolidations and integratio
ns of two newly acquired $75 million/year contract machining and assembly compan
ies to form a $160 million/year contract precision machining and assembly manufa
cturer serving major world-wide oil and gas service companies.
* Integrated the accounting, operations, and financial reporting of two acquisit
ions with two separate operating systems and financial systems into that of the
parent company in August of 2007 doubling the revenues and operating income in 2
008 over 2007 respectively.
* Developed SOX process narratives, matrix, and audit procedures as well as part
icipating and conducting audits. Also, began annual inventory physicals as well
as creating an inventory cycle counting daily process.
* Responsible for the corporate payroll function and in 2008 created a centraliz
ed payroll department using one payroll system, ADP used by the parent company.
In 2009 designed and implemented a payroll system ECI for the entire group incl
uding five locations.
* Re-implemented an upgrade of the existing Visual operating system; implemented
the Visual financial system, moving it from Quickbooks; and, developed and impl
emented standard product costing in late 2008 and early 2009 for the Brenham Eas
t location.
* In late 2009 and early 2010 designed and implemented the JDE financial account
ing, manufactured accounting, reporting, and standard costing processes across t
he company including designing and creating the chart of accounts as well as con
ducting the training of the financial groups, management, and operations.

Oversight of the accounting functions to include a direct staff of 5 managing an
d coordinating the financial close process, financial reporting, financial analy
sis, annual tax & audits, and planning (annual plan and rolling monthly forecast
s) of a $1 billion/year Galena Park manufacturing facility providing offshore an
d land rigs as well as other equipment for the worldwide oil and gas industry.
* Established Sarbanes-Oxley policy, procedures, and reporting in conjunction wi
th the corporate requirements including monthly and annual audits.

* Expanded the cost accounting department to include project costing, percentage
of completion, and standard costing.
* Designed and implemented standard costing for the rigs and mud systems. Worke
d with manufacturing to created bill of materials (BOMs) and Routers along with
establishing labor and overhead rates.
* Designed a multi-year forecasting model along with monthly financial reporting
and measurements.
