Cable Splicer Fiber Optic/Copper - Spliced fiber optic Cables for
Verizon of Florida's FiOS build. Spliced feeder and distribution fiber
optic cabling inside Verizon's Central Offices as well as in the
field. Spliced copper cables for new installs as well as damages and
out of services that needed to be repaired to restore service.
09/1997 - 03/2005 AG Communications Systems/Lucent Tech Tampa, FL
COEI - Central Office Equipment Installer - Installed Voice, Data, and
DC Power Panels inside Verizon/GTE of Florida's Central Offices.
Assisted in the hanging of grids and the pulling of DC Power cables.
Installed and turned up T-1/Adtran shelves, CCB panels, Dantel Alarm
Systems and various other telecommunications equipment. Also worked on
customer location T-1 installations and transitions.
11/2002 - 01/2005 Voice & Data Services Inc. St. Petersburg, FL
President - Lead Tech - Obtained a State of Florida Low Voltage
Contractor's License and started a Part-Time Telecommunications
Services company. Designed, installed and maintained Nortel telephone
Key Systems and Voice Mail. Ran structured cabling systems including
Fiber Optics, CAT-3, CAT-5, CAT-6, and Coax cables and connectors.
Designed and Installed Home Theater systems per customer's requests.
