Nov. 2009. Developed a solar lantern micro-finance project in a Delhi slum, conc
eptualized an energy education program to sell sponsored solar lighting to schoo
ls, and identified and formed partnerships with energy education and micro-finan
ce non-profits and companies.
Marketing Consultant for TRA International, a solar consultancy in New Delhi, I
ndia, from Nov.2008 to May 2009. Became Associate Editor of TRA's Solar Energy R
eview in February 2009. Aided in website development, identified and contacted s
olar organizations across India, hired writers, edited submissions, conducted in
terviews, updated the website, cross-posted on relevant RE blogs, and wrote arti

include writing an overview of the Indian solar industry for PV Magazine, editin
g chapters for Indonesia in Turmoil, editing for a Paraguayan embassy official,
and in October 2010, co-authored a journal article on greening IS and IT with an
Australian IS professor.

SustainUS COP-16 Delegate, July 2010-present. Participated in the COP16 as a YOU
NGO constituency member. Observed plenary sessions, performed media work for Sus
tainUS and YOUNGO, actively engaged in shaping YOUNGO's strategy for engagement,
attended multiple side events on particular policy issues (REDD+, Climate Finan
ce, etc.).
India Youth Climate Network Volunteer, November 2008 to August 2009-Developed m
aterials for a climate tour, aided in design of the Climate Solutions Database,
attended Baadlav Climate Change Seminars.
Alternative Breaks Coordinator, a student-run service learning program involving
service trips. Participant in March 2005, trip leader in Sep. 2006, led the ent
ire organization from Aug. 2007 to April 2008. Leadership responsibilities incl
uded coordinating all lodging, service, and transportation logistics for nine tr
ips, selecting and training student trip leaders, selecting trip participants, r
esearching and establishing connections with new service sites, and managing a $
12,000 budget. Received Recognition of Service Award in April 2008.
