Doctoral thesis research evaluated patients diagnosed with
sudden cardiac death syndrome, over four months.
Subjects were treated with either the AICD &/or antiarrthymic
medicines and assesed along several parameters i.e., changes
in psychological symptoms, quality of life, employment,
relationships, overall level of physical functioning, side effects
of treatment paradigm.
